Heska’s Sugar Shack is a hidden gem that offers a delightful culinary experience. Once you walk in you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back to a bit of a simpler time. Between the musical instruments and the various Beatles photos on the wall, I felt like this stop was meant to be.

Walked in and I was greeted like family. Placed my order for an omelet, country potatoes and toast. My omelet was melting in my mouth, country potatoes and my toast were great and gave me warm fuzzy feelings. My coffee was amazing like a latte. The atmosphere was so cute, vintage, interesting and just gave me overall melancholy. I am definitely coming back with my family.

Amazing!!!!!! The best couple ! The best atmosphere, the best food, I can’t stress enough how wonderful my experience was , and the only bad thing is that they aren’t closer to me, but if you’re in Redlands please do yourself the favor and make this a must visit , and experience one of the best hidden gems !

I used to go to nearby Starbucks to study during my son’s soccer practice, however after discovering Heska’s, I will be getting my coffee and eats here from now on. Love this homey little spot and the owners are truly kind and welcoming. And last but not least, the food was outstanding. Only tried the Mongolian Beef and Chicken sandwiches and an Apple coffee cake and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I look forward to trying more items on their menu.

What an excellent little gem of a spot. We stopped in a week ago to scope it out, and ended up taking the food to go. This time we decided to eat in, and I can’t recommend it enough. Heska was so sweet and friendly, the food was delicious, and it’s just such a neat little spot fun by a family with a very cool story.

We’re in love. Heska is a light in the world. Her and her husband’s ability to share love in all they do is the type stuff that changes this world into the one our hearts know it can be! Such fresh good food, such delicious, strong iced Americanos ! Such a sweet cool, veranda at the end of a long weekend in the mountains and before a hot, long drive home to San Diego. As the driver I can tell you, I was so tired and not looking forward to it. This was So needed. We floated home safely and with such good energy all the way back! Truly an oasis! Clean bathroom. Can’t wait to stop back next time, and on a Friday for the music!

The food in this restaurant is the best that I have eaten in my time here in California. The breakfasts have beaten the Mexican restaurants that I have gone to eat and the sandwiches, not to mention, really, very delicious food and it is a very nice, with good people attending, I recommend you ignore negative comments and find out for yourselves
