Hi guys, so like, I just went to Golden Crust and like, OMG, the macaroni in cheese was totally dried out sitting there on display. Eww, and don’t even get me started on the dried peas in the rice and the undercooked veggies. The only thing that was fresh were the patties. And like, hello, the employees were just standing around chit chatting. Like, seriously? I love Golden Crust, it’s one of the best Jamaican restaurants to go eat at, but this was hands down the worst one I have ever been to. Like, not even kidding. #disappointed

I visited the Hartford location on Tuesday 07/25. Atmosphere and service were great which was my reason for leaving a tip. I ordered a large Oxtail meal, which is all I ever order from your restaurants. It was too spicy and did not taste like the standard Golden Krust Oxtail recipe. Whoever the chef was for the day decided to cook the oxtail their way which was a shame. I could not even finish it.

Some folks like mild flavors and some like spicy. You will be satisfied with the cuisine here at Golden Krust in Hartford. It would be nice if this restaurant had a larger space and parking.

Bought two large soups. There was nothing in it but carrots smfh. I immediately called them and asked how come he didn’t tell me that they were selling broth. He stated “I didn’t know you wanted a soup” Like for real??? I asked for chicken soup! Told him nobody sells broth for a full price. ($11 each) He stated, “Fair” but didn’t say he will reimburse me or give me a credit.

Seneka has the worst customer service. Instead of letting me know what time lunch menu was served she simply kept brushing me off telling me it’s not ready and won’t be. Won’t be spending my money here anymore. Train your people who serve customers how to say what can I get for u and not smack their lips during service. Their online menu times does not match up with the stores menu time. Take your money to dunns river.

Poor customer service, order was placed 24hours prior to scheduled pick up and i was not notified until time of pick up of portion of order not being available. Not only was it an inconvenience, but poor customer service management. If the store cannot accommodate online orders, they should not accept them.

I ordered jerk pork and they were out of stock in decided to give me jerk chicken, which I did not want. We also ordered two beef patties and a couple bread and we only received a plant-based beef patty. We did not receive the spicy beef and the Coco bread. This is not the first time that this is happened and I feel disappointing. I did call the status unit on Albany Avenue. Whoever answered the phone. All they could do was say sorry. Sorry doesn’t change the fact that I’m dissatisfied.
