During the week I stopped by Riverview and ordered a pizza. I ordered a sausage pizza. The pizza had a very thin crust and the outer pieces were nice and crispy. The pizza had a lot of sauce and the sauce was thick and extremely sweet. This pizza had giant chunks of juicy Italian sausage with just the right amount of fennel. Between the sausage and the extremely sweet sauce it was hard to taste the cheese at all. If you like an extremely sweet sauce this is the place for you. Not a bad place if you find yourself in the area.

I was there about 7:30 and waited more than 12 minutes to just be acknowledged and give a drink order. To the bartenders credit, she was busy with a big order and was working solo but not being acknowledged, not even a nod to say I will be with you soon. After after ordering a beer and surfing the menu, I was ready to order, only to be told “Sorry, but were only serving pizza today” with a shrug. I politely finished my beer and went elsewhere where I received the best service I’ve had in a while. I won’t ever go back to Riverview, not for food anyway.

We’ve been driving past the Riverview for years. Today, we had a taste for excellent broasted chicken and we found that at the Riverview Restaurant and Tavern. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed, seated and served. Friendly service, large portions, fair prices. Next time, I’m going to try the ribs and pizza.

After years of passing by this place I finally decided to stop here with a friend. It was a Friday evening and boy was I in for a (pleasant) surprise! Felt like I was walking into a cross between a family event and a neighborhood hangout. People were top notch, service was tier 1, and the drinks were on point. I did not have the food, but I regretted eating an hour before. Everyone around me was ordering food and it was looking fantastic. I will be returning. Returning for the food, the vibe, and the drinks.

We recently visited Riverview for the first time. My iced tea was thick and the food gave us all a stomach ache. The nachos had all the grease from the ground beef at the bottom of the plate and the cheese was semi hardened when we received the nachos. The Monster sandwich was good. The beer nuggets were decent, the sauce wasn’t that great. Since the tea was bad, I asked for Pepsi/Coke. The drink had a moldy after taste, like the dispenser was dirty. Our waitress was the bartender, she was very nice. Unfortunately, our first time was our last time.

This place is a must try! The food was incredible. I had the cheese fry and artichoke app both were very good. The server Cody made all the recommendations for the food and it was all delicious. The chicken was everything you hear and read. The clazone/panzaninni was giant! Cody said it was as big as an NFL football and he wasn’t kidding. Portions are massive for the price.
