I had a fantastic time at Karenderya. The service was top-notch, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a meal. The menu had a great selection, and everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Karenderya for anyone looking for a great dining experience.

I have ate here twice now and each time was excellent. The first time we grabbed our order to go and the second time we dined in. The spot is really special with it’s cozy and inviting atmosphere (beautiful wooden tables with mismatched wooden chairs and beautiful glass water bottles if you order water for your table). It’s a rather small restuarant but don’t let that fool you, the flavors are all umami! This place always seems to be fairly busy so please practice patience, as they are a smaller business. They are a very kind, hard working family and provided great service with fantastic recommendations.

Karenderya is among the best and only Filipino spots in Rockland, and it has fair prices and delicious food. The service was pretty slow (entrees took almost an hour to come out), but the staff were friendly and they seemed pretty busy and understaffed overall. We got there around noon on a Sunday, and there were still plenty of tables, but it got busier as the day went on.

The food here is incredible, service was attentive and quick! We got the lumpiang shanghai, fried chicken sandwich, and coconut shrimp adobo with garlic rice. Everything was phenomenal, I can’t wait to come back here.

All yummy dishes as always… but maybe don’t serve 3/4 of the dishes in cracked bowls and plates?? My 3rd time eating here and I’m disappointed they’re serving on dinnerware like this now… also the garlic rice has lost a bit of its flavor.

Loved the Shrimp adobo bowl. We’ve been twice now and will return as regulars. The garlic rice makes each dish even better. Mini pork empanadas & the turon dessert are also great. There is a little wait after ordering but absolutely worth it.

I was holed in a nearby hotel and was looking for some filipino food. Found this little gem by accident. It took me a couple of times driving around the area to find a place to park. The adobo is so good, I had to order another one to go.

We had an excellent experience at Karenderya! The food was very good, no bad dishes. Our favorite was the shrimp adobo – very tasty and flavorful. We ordered a few dishes: the PEI mussels and steamed whole branzino which were both specials of the day, shrimp adobo, pansit bihon with chicken, and pork rib sinigang. We also had the red horse beer and a kalamansi drink with basil seeds – both nice drinks. I really liked the beer, it was very smooth and went down easy. Friendly service and chill vibe. Reasonable prices. Overall, a pleasant and very satisfying meal! Clean, pronounced flavors. The shrimp adobo is a must order! Wish I lived in the area so I could frequent this place!

Came here after reading it was named one of the best new restaurants in America which is a pretty big title to live up to and I was not disappointed! Each dish was well seasoned and the rice was perfect which shows they pay attention to details which makes all the difference. I’m new to Philipino food and ejoyed every dish. Super casual dining too which can be refreshing when you want a more low key experience. Definitely a cool place to try out.
