Paper Lantern is a beautiful restaurant. The name is evocative and the interior furnishings are gorgeous! The staff is friendly and service is quick. Food presentation is beautiful. Just see the pictures. I took off a star because, for my visit, the Beef Chow Fun was just average: the noodles were stuck together and overcooked.

This is a nice place – just a little off of the beaten path. The staff are friendly and attentive. Our party of 5 were seated quickly, and offered drinks. The food arrived and looked delicious. Portions were large. The orange chicken was overly sweet, and the Szechuan chicken, although tasty, wasn’t what I expected. There was virtually no heat, and seemed more like a stew of chicken, onions and celery. The fried rice had an odd taste, and little flavor. I would likely try it again in case this was just an off day. The prices were good as well.

Likely the best Chinese place I’ve been going to for years. A lot of Chinese dishes taste fairly similar in different restaurants, but one bite and you can tell that the food quality here is superior compared to other pieces. My favorites are most of the noodle dishes, especially the Thai chow fun and Singapore rice noodles. The staff is very friendly and they are a pleasure to interact with, hoping to enjoy their food for years to come.

Highly impressed with this restaurant. Stopped here after a hike and was pleasantly surprised. Everything is clean and the service was amazing. Food came out piping hot and the sushi was fresh. Would highly recommend.

I’ve passed by so many times and always wanted to try it. Finally decided to stop in and was not disappointed. It was very quiet and the staff was very friendly. Food was absolutely delicious and the portions were HUGE. Probably took more than half my food home. Can’t wait to go back and try a few more things. I got spicy chicken pad thai and spring rolls.
