I’m from NY and visited Portland for a wedding – was the absolute best decision we made while here! The food, view, environment & staff were next level incredible! Our waitress forgot to add our wine bottle to the check, so we told her, and she said not to worry about it since our entrees took longer than she said. Truly the kindest wait staff we ever experienced. Would 10000/10 recommend this place. Amazing food, great value & overall fantastic experience!

My husband and I are in Portland for part of our honeymoon and made a reservation at Il Terrazzo-we were not disappointed. They were quite busy, but did a fantastic job with the team they had. Even while we were waiting for our table they checked on us to assure us they’d be seating us as soon as they could. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and the food was phenomenal. I cannot recommend the Alla Monzese enough. My husband got the lasagna which was also fantastic. Great wine selection! Sitting right outside with a view of the harbor was delightful. We would absolutely come back on our next visit!

Popped in on a fully booked evening and managed to grab a table. Service was quick and helpful. Ordered the burrata and ragu della domenica which was a thick bolognese with fresh linguini. Both were incredible. Burrata was served on arugula, some kind of balsamic and pesto dressing and the cheese itself was so soft and full of flavour. The domenica was equally amazing with a depth of flavour that was clearly due to a really slow cooked ragu. So tasty. The cheese used was aged and real deal. Portland knows how to do Italian right. If you can grab a table, do it.

Loved the menu options. We were sold off on a bottle of wine which may or may not have been a smart idea 😛 Certain pasta dishes have way more quantity than some others, so it might be good to check if your choice needs to be shared. Also, what a great view. We went late April and the weather was great and the view was soothing.

We had nine guests in our party and everything went beautifully. Our server was wonderful, the food was on point, and the location was intimate, great vibe, and with a water view! Special thanks to the chef for coming out to our table several times to check on us and to bring us some samples of fun food concoctions he was working on. Highly recommend!
