My husband and I always stop by to get Sam’s Pizza when we are in the area. We are usually there Christmas Eve for our anniversary. If we happen to be there more than once a year we definitely go to Sam’s then too. Our youngest daughter loved the Ranch fries.

Sam’s is an ok restaurant. The pizza seemed to be like a Pizza Hut style, but the oven was a bit too hot so the cheese was a bit over baked. The wings were tasty, but a bit dry. My Greek Salad was fresh and good, but a bit on the small side for the price. Despite being known as a pizza place, there was no garlic or parmesan on the table. They need to stock up on bendy straws for their kids drinks. The restaurant itself could use some updating. But it was ok for what it was. If you are looking for a less expensive meal option in town, you might give it a try.

I have enjoyed this restaurant since they originally opened in Ridgely, MD in the 90s. We were sad to see them go but love that they have been thriving in St Michaels since! It has always been consistently good. We got a sampler, an extra cheese pizza and a white pizza also with extra cheese. The white pizza here is my favorite of any that I’ve tried.

Friends who love their pizza choose it… Menu challenging if you have diet restrictions. Lots of refined carbohydrates and fats. Overcooked green beans. Iceberg lettuce (no nutrition). Sigh. Cheerful waitress, pleasant booths.
