If you’re visiting the Hoosier National Forest or just want a taste of ‘real small town America’ stop in to the Bandon Tavern. I’m from a small Midwest town and this place felt like going home. Nothing fancy, nothing show-stopping, just a good local watering hole to get pizza, burgers, beer, or some truly spicy cheese curds.

Went there for lunch today with family. We had a variety of food from their thick cut (and I do mean thick) fried bologna sandwich to their pizza, the fish and the salads were great! Very good food for bar food. Definitely will return!

I have enjoyed both times I’ve been there. They do only have a beer license, no liquor. A fun place to be in – and they do offer biscuits and gravy after last call and I think that’s a nice touch.
