Summer Hoskins
Small town, dated, dive bar. The waitress was superb and had such a great personality. The food was mostly good. We had a variety that we ordered including the fisherman’s platter, the Philly cheesesteak, the cod, the 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger, curly fries, chicken parmesean bites, and jalapeño poppers. The chicken parmesean bites were not what any of us expected, a plain chicken nugget with marinara and parmesean on top they were not good. One order of curly fries was very overdone to the point where there was no potato left just a shell that crunched but the other were seasoned well and very tasty. The rest of the food was phenomenal with very large portions. The dinner come with multiple sides but the burger/ philly did not.

Drove in close to closing with just one staff member, he was very accommodating and let me order a burger and fries and was very friendly. Very nice place to go later in the night when most restaurants in the area are closed.

Went for breakfast on a July Saturday. Hardly anyone here but they are missing out! The staff is very friendly and the food is incredibly good. We both had omelets, which they customized with no issues for us keto folks. They were huge and delicious and very reasonably priced. Place is out of the way, clean, and quiet in the morning.

We went there for the Valentine’s Day steak special. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was delicious. We were sat right away, but it was a bit of a wait for someone to take our order and to get our food. I’m going to assume that was because of it being Valentine’s Day so will be going back again to try the fish fry soon.

The lady on duty was wonderful. She waited on us, made the food, and she helped us with our disabled family member. She was a physical therapist and was extremely kind helping them out of the car and into their wheel chair. So glad we decided to go here, and their pizza was delicious!

Fun place to visit. Seems like a very local place, which I love. We were only there for an hour, but I see their menu special day to day looked great. Our bartender was super friendly. Again, we were only there for an hour , but I would return. There is a pool table way back in back room and alot of tables for sit down meals.

Great food and variety- a must stop for every Lake Mary resident as well as former summer vacation residents of the lake. Very down home and would recommend to any traveler in the UP. The fish is best.
