Was craving some Haitian food and decided to go to Gisele. I can say the food wasn’t bad sadly it wasn’t great either. Fritay was a bit too dry I think some sauce (sòs) would help. I also got the diri cole too, rice wasn’t too bad. The legume was okay. Overall I think it’s just okay. Btw pickliz isn’t that expensive for y’all to be that stingy with it cmon!!!! Do better

I just left like 2 minutes ago… food was good overall chicken could barely chew because it was that crispy and hard. But like I said overall food was good. There’s was only what looked like the owner working the floor, but I was patient it happens and it was like 2-3 hours before they closed. I ordered Fritay for myself legume for my husband. 2 orders of chicken tenders for my kiddos which on the menu

The price on line was different than price in store . Dinner is 18.99 online but 24.99 when pick up . The mushroom rice was tasty but I got some hard pieces from bottom of pot. Fried goat as displayed lots of bone with not meat. , quantity of goat should be more for price . Plantain awesome . Overall I would give it a 6 . For the cost I think they could do better with portion of meat and no hard rice. The sauce for goat could be more tasty but I would try again, but not the fried goat . Maybe a bad night . These things happen ‍♀️. You can’t see their sigh dark at night because it’s faded. So you may miss it on the first round and have to drive around again.

Came from Jersey and found this place on Google. Best decision I ever made. Great atmosphere, parking in front, beautiful dine in experience. Great food, excellent service. Price was average, not cheap nor expensive compare to other restaurants. Keep up the good work guys!

The food here is wonderful. I had Stew goat, Haitian black rice, some yummy red potato salad with beets, and some spicy pickled cabbage. Along with an excellent Haitian beer.

Whenever we travel to DC we always have to make a stop in Maryland for some good Haitian food. The last time we were here I had the fried turkey and it changed my life lol I don’t want turkey any other way now. It was so good, juicy and well seasoned. Can’t wait until next time.

A friend of mine wanted to try this spot so we did. When we arrived I found parking in the bank parking lot because it was closed. When we walked in the man behind the bar seemed to be rushing us to order and he was terrible with his customer service. I had to give it back to him to let him know and he calmed down a bit. In the restaurant they allowed you to eat inside or out so we chose out. The lady took our order and said it would be served in to go plates. I order the goat and red wine and my friend ordered the fish. The wine listed wasn’t even available so I picked a red that might of been old lol smh.

Little paradise. So decided to come try this place for a date and let’s just say I do not regret it. The lady helping us was very courteous and nice and the food … GOSH the food … was delicious. That mushroom rice hinting at flavor and the juicy fried goat meat I got was just wonderful. My date got the oxtail which was okay just because I have had jamaican oxtail which I think was way better. I also got the cod fish pattie which was okay but a little too spicy for my liking. As for the drinks, I got juice and let’s just say you can always tell the difference between fresh pressed juice and store bought juice! This was fresh pressed and very refreshing! Will be going again and most definitely recommended!

The food was pretty good. I traveled over 30mins to come get some Haitian food because I was feeling home sick. My only issue is that I waited over an hour and a half. Google said they opened at 12 but they didn’t actually open till 1. Then I waited 30mins for my food to be prepared. They didn’t have any pate and the pate kode was going to be ready in 2hrs.

Came here because of a suggestion from a friend and I haven’t really tried Haitian food before. Ordered the Goat stew in the entree section, which came with a few sides like the plantains and mushroom rice. The best thing I’d say was the Rice. The goat stew for me was a tad bit underwhelming portion wise and taste.
