First time customer here and I was very pleased with the service and food. It appears to be a popular location for the community and as a result the dinning room is noisy with conversations. I’ll definitely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good food, great service, and oversize helpings that might require you to get a carry out container.

I got the ( Birria Tacos ) and the ( Agua de guava ) from here it was one of the best tacos and drink that I have gotten in a good minute now. The waitress that I had was very nice to he was always checking up on us. I don’t understand why this place don’t get that many visitors is very anti-for the most part having ( 2 to 3 people at a time ) I give this place. ( 9.7/10! )

Our server was excellent. The food was great, served hot, and made to order. I loved the homemade guacamole. The drinks were big and tasty and just right on the alcohol. And it was a lively atmosphere. I felt very satisfied when I left. I paid roughly $75 for two people, and the server was so good, I left her 25%+. (I paid just as much last week at Colorado Burrito only to be very very disappointed.) I will DEFINITELY come back to Pueblo Viejo!

I loved this place in their last location, but it just did not feel the same when I went this week. We thought the menu said free refills for horchata but the waitress told us they don’t anymore. The food was just ok this time. Prices have gone up, but that is the same everywhere.

Some of the best Mexican food in Hillsborough or anywhere. Pollo Yucatán is my favorite and my husband’s favorite is the shrimp tacos. Also South of the Border is delicious drink & their flavors margaritas are spectacular. Generous portions, delicious drinks, fast and friendly service. Enjoy your night out for a change!

On the positive side the restaurant looks very fun and has a festive vibe. I like the bar a a lot. The portion sizes are also very generous. The food itself is pretty on par with any other typical everywhere America standard Mexican restaurant.

We both ordered tacos and margaritas. Husband had refried beans which he really liked. Margaritas were very good. However, the tacos still had a lot of liquid in the meat which caused the plant to be very watery and therefore the taco shells did not remain hard and became quite soggy. Not the crunchy meal we had envisioned when we arrived.
