Love Love Love Ms Tamia Joy’s place! I ordered the Chicken Alfredo (Petite) with a side salad that comes the meal. She had me at the salad. It was so full of flavor, with just the right textures-Yum! The Alfredo did not disappoint, that sauce was made from scratch. Creamy and flavorful! My husband had the Spaghetti with made from scratch meat sauce. He said the sauce tasted fresh, very flavorful. Our granddaughter had the fried chicken and fries. When she bit into it, I could hear the “crunch” that you want to hear from fried chicken. She enjoyed her food as well, lots of flavor is what we have to say! This quaint, inviting, great atmosphere is one for all to enjoy who go! Such a Pleasure, and we are so looking forward to trying out the rest of the menu. We will be back!!

We had the good fortune to find this gem this season on our sojourn from FL to NJ. It’s located in a classic southern house of over a hundred years.. Beautifully appointed with welcoming homey decor. The talented owner chef is as welcoming as the decor. The fare was nothing short of spectacular! I had the Southern fried chicken, a touch of heaven, with Mac and cheese and fries to round out the comfort food theme. It was well worth the cholesterol bump only offset by a marvelous cucumber, tomato and red onion salad. My wife had the novel chicken Alfredo. All exceptional. If you find yourself anywhere near Dunn, NC do not miss Joy!

Great music. Amazing ambience. Followed with even better conversation that complemented the delicious foodddd! I’ve been eyeing this place for a while and would drive 40minutes again to go to Temia Joy’s place! I got the catfish grits & brown sugar bourbon chicken with saffron rice, Mac & cheese, & the collards babyyyy! Seasoned to perfection. My significant other tore his plate up! I can’t wait to see the things Temia has in store! When you are as genuine and personable as she is you have no choice but to go far in your career AND life! Thank you so much Temia for the food and more food to come! Loved it.

Went in today at 3 and waited for around 7 minutes. No one came to the register so I stood toward the side door that can see through to the kitchen and asked the woman in the back if they were open and she said yes. I went back to the front and she asked if we were ordering to go. I said it was our first time here so we weren’t sure what we would be getting. She then said “Are you eating to go” with a loud/rude tone and rolled her eyes. I told her no and she said “Then you can have a seat”. We went straight to the car. With all the great reviews we were really excited to stop by. Not sure if she was having a bad day or if they were understaffed as she was the only one there (that I knew of). Didn’t feel comfortable staying as she didn’t seem happy to be there or for us to be there either.

WOW WOW WOW, I just moved to the area and have been wanting to try this place for a while now. Blown away. I got the chicken Alfredo. AMAZING!! I got the petite portion and as you can see in the picture, even with it half eaten, it’s still a huge portion. And even put into a take out box, the presentation of the food was still awesome and it wasn’t this saucy mess that I find from getting takeout pasta from other places. My only disappointment with this place is that it isn’t open for more days of the week and longer hours. I will definitely be eating here again!

Absolutely amazing food! Do yourself a favor and head over to this hidden gem! The Mac and cheese is to die for!! Had the collards and cabbage and it was so delicious and tasty. For dessert we had Moscato cake and oh my!!! This was our first time eating here but will absolutely be back soon and often! Can’t wait to try more!
