They don’t have the new location at 816 Mass St online yet but it’s amazing! Such a beautiful indoor space and bar. Lots of seating too and a beautiful indoor environment.

Pastries and breakfast sandwich are so tasty! I loved their expresso too. Since the place is small, there aren’t many seats but it’s completely worth it.

Let me start by saying I am biased against coffee shops with a weird and small menu. I can only assume a coffee shop can make quite a few different combinations, so I really hate when there’s only 5-10 options on the menu. Makes things a bit confusing for the customer.. I live in California now and half the places have the same vibe as this place, which could be a plus or a minus depending on who you ask. Ordered some hot cappuccinos and an iced vanilla caramel latte, both were strong and tasty. Pastry wise I wanted to try the lemon cream, they ran out. Second option was the raspberry and they ran out as well. I thought the third option was a fruit danish but maybe I miss heard the gentleman working the counter. When we got home the box had 3 danishes, none of which were sweet. They all had some kind of bacon and cheese combination. I thought they tasted really good, very flaky. Not sure what got lost in translation but though this worked out in my favor. A lot of people don’t eat pork for various reasons, so that could’ve been a disaster. Overall, would recommend for the pastries but the vibe/atmosphere and coffee were just mediocre in my opinion…

The coffee, pastries and breakfast sandwiches were some of the best we have ever had!!! So yummy. Not one of the staff smiled at us or seemed very warm. But maybe that was unusual as I am not a regular.

All the food is excellent and the owners are very nice people. Unfortunately, I’m revising my review due to poor customer service. Dismissive, uninterested and almost to the point of rude on several visits. This was from the Mass Street location. It’s enough that I don’t plan on coming back for a while. Don’t need bad vibes when I’m a loyal paying customer. Service should be friendly.

The breakfast sandwiches will change your life! flaky crusty perfectly buttery croissants with a puck sized scrambled egg mini omelette that is so fluffy it floats. The quiche was equally delicious. A must try if you are in Lawrence.

I love the small cafe vibe at this place. Employees were always friendly and very attentive. So far this has been my go to spot for coffee and pastry whenever I ride my road bike from Shawnee/Lenexa, usually on Saturday mornings.

The Breakfast Sandwich with an egg patty and a croissant bun. Listen to me–I am PICKY about the words “egg patty” and “croissant bun” because it sounded like it would be sweet, small, and not very filling. SO!! When I tell you that this was the BEST breakfast sandwich The egg patty is 3/4 of an inch thick and creamy, and the bun is NOT sweet, just flakey and DELICIOUS. It really shows the passion for flavors and baking, whoever created these recipes. I didn’t even get to tell you about the sauce or fresh veggies that goes on it. Just get one, okay?

Reminded me of being in Paris. So quaint and beautiful inside with the smell of fresh breads. I loved the quiet bustle of patrons coming and going. My quiche was delightful and the croissant was the best croissant I’ve had. I’d highly recommend this gem to any local or visitor of Lawrence!
