11/13 Went here to try the steak sandwich but it wasn’t on the menu. I order the spicy jerk chicken sandwich. Bam! Flavor-town. Delicious. (if you can’t handle a little spicy, you may need to ask but for me it was great.)

Small but comfy. The order took a bit longer than I’d like, but they had a huge Uber eats order before me so it didn’t bother me. The main thing is, the food was AMAZING. I got the chicken and waffles and I have to say, that this was the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The breading was crispy but not greasy, the bacon huge, and the waffle tasty. My wife’s food was spectacular as well! Highly recommend!

Chicken and waffles were the clear winner. Crispy honey fried chicken was moist and tender, the bacon was the perfect level of crunchy and the waffle was fluffy on the inside. I enjoyed the shrimp and grits, but next time will ask for the red-eye gravy on the side. It was good but very smokey and overpowered the dish about half way in. I took the leftovers home and did enjoy them for lunch the next day. My picky daughter had the Hunka Burning Love pancakes. She liked everything but the fried bananas. My son and I thought the were perfecr.

Wow Chef Justin is amazing! I wanted a vegan breakfast and he created a vegan burrito for me. So yummy. My husband had filet mignon country fried steak and eggs. Great vibe and amazing food. Will become a regular spot for us. Make sure to check it out. Doesn’t look like much from outside, go on in and have a stellar breakfast! You’ll thank me!

Lunch was great today! We had purchased a restaurant.com gift certificate. The reviews both on that site and on Google are astounding. We were excited because they have received mostly 5 star reviews. The best part of our experience was that the chef came to welcome us and catered to the kids with special Capri Sun drinks. This is a hidden gem. The restaurant is decorated super cute and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. The food was delicious. We were impressed. We definitely will be back.

I’m a little torn in this review because I feel like The Chef’s Table is on the edge of greatness, but not quite there. That being said, I’m giving it 5 stars despite the bumps, because overall, it was a great eating experience.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. What a very sad and frustrating dining experience. 10:30 am Saturday, not busy at all. Waited nearly half hour to have our orders taken, nearly same to have food to table. 3 of 4 meals were messed up. Pancakes w berry trio…just strawberries. Country fried steak…not steak. Chef was very argumentative, actually came to table and started arguing (after he came up behind me, interrupted conversation at the table, and scared me when he challenged me!) that country fried steak is okay if its thick meatloaf breaded and fried with country gravy (truly, should be a cube steak of cutlet), that there is a second country fried steak on the menu (there is not, it’s steak and eggs), sob story about being so busy he ran out of fruits for pancakes (server should inform when ordering or they should get to a produce store and have appropriate ingredients). Another friend waited an additional 15 minutes after the orders were table presented for her side of bacon. Cold toast on all orders. Many of our slices unbuttered. Hostess comes over with her kid in tow, apologizes, then laughs (twice) about how chef is having a “tough day”…
