Been here before a couple of times with family and it’s always been great. Went in the early afternoon, was seated right away. Ordered the Sushi and Sashimi for 2 and the shrimp and vegetable tempura. I’ll tell you what, WOW! Definitely exceeded my expectations, I hadn’t had sashimi here but I was impressed. I know it may not be ‘middle of the ocean fresh’ fish but it was very very good. Definitely had enough just on the plate to feed nearly 3 people.

Took our mom here for her 94th BD and had a great time. Our Chef put on a great show lots of interactions with us. Flipping us veggies off of his spatula trying to catch with our mouths, juggling his cooking utensils, tossing eggs off his spatula and catching it in his pocket, onion volcano and lots more.

Our chef made a few goofs at the hibachi table but that the experience all the more memorable and fun! I want to come back and try the lunch hibachi special. I ordered chicken which I think is generally not a good fit for hibachi but my friends say the steak and shrimp were great.

We came here for a coworkers farewell luncheon. The chef was not super friendly nor skilled. I mean, I can’t do what he did, but I have seen more skilled hibachi chefs at other hibachi places, like Tokyo Steakhouse. He didn’t listen to my friend who told him “no onions” at least 3 times. I don’t know what’s her beef with onions, but when he went to serve her, she said “no, I said no onions.” He didn’t say a thing. Made a little mess of rice pulling it back and left (without a word). He did come back with fresh rice that he quickly heated and served her, but again he didn’t say anything. His actions were entertaining though, and I did include some videos somewhere.

It’s nice to have a place that is open late other than fast food in town or so we thought. My 9 and 3 year old wanted a late dinner I googled to see what time Sakura closed and it said 10:30pm upon arrival the door sign also read closing time was 10:30pm. We arrived around 9:45pm we were greeted rudely by a man (employee) stating they were closed even though the sign read 10:30pm and the OPEN sign was ON. The man followed us out and locked the door behind us. There was non need for that, he could have easily said Sorry we are closed or we closed early today sorry for the inconvenience. It’s hard to support small businesses with rude staff and inconsistent opening/closing times.

Where do I start? Well my husband took me there for our anniversary. Immediately I liked the atmosphere. The hostess was very friendly, polite and accommodating. Our server was the same. We ordered a meal designed for 2 and 2 appetizers. The chef was top of the line and also very friendly and polite. We had so much food left as you can see from the pictures of the plates I’m going to post. This is after we were done eating. We had this much food left. The bill was very very reasonable. Overall an A plus experience. Oh also they have regular dine in and a hibachi grill. We ate at the later.
