The East Buffet in Grove is pretty good, for a SMALL TOWN. Don’t listen to the negative reviews — try it for yourself. Their selection of items is well above average, for a small town buffet. You can’t expect big city quality buffet food in a small town with ONLY ONE buffet.

Went to eat lunch and the food was stale, the service was bad. The owner of the restaurant came to our table, where we was QUIETLY eating our dinner and told us that our 4 year old and 5 year old was kicking the booths and being too loud. NEVER again will my family be back into that restaurant. If they don’t want a child in Their facility then they need to make that clear. And not come harass a family eating and minding their own business.

Absolutely disgusting we went here to have lunch the shrimp was rotten it had a horrible smell and just did not look right at all I ask the cook to please replace the shrimp he said yes one coming up so I waited he brought a new batch and just dumped it with the rotten ones!!!! like are kidding me I meant go through these away and clean the pot and serve a fresh dish !! …….me and my husband were so discussed by the food we decided to just stop eating and get the bill and leave I through up at a gas station from just thinking the food I ate had days there will never be back that’s absolutely discussing and just shows how there lazy and will rather serve poor food from days of just sitting there than make fresh food and management lacks here as well no hello how are you ? Was everything okay ? Nothing no good customer service at all but what can you expect from s***ty grove

I call to see if they had to go boxs and I have no idea what the man said then he hangs up on me . Once I get there dude(jack) isn’t nice at all . Extremely rude . My spring rolls were cold almost frozen. I found a black hair in my chicken…… Other than that the food was great lol

Was upset that 5+ times a dog same into the restaurant and the staff could not remove the dog a customer had to several times. The first time it happened while I was there they almost tried to take it through the back going in the kitchen. I said out loud sorry kids if the dog goes In the kitchen we are done and leaving. I know to most animal loves it’s ok but I don’t want dog fur in the food plus it’s health hazard in public. Other problem I had is the lady would take kids plates while food was still left and they have not finished.

Food was okay. When I went to pay it was almost $14 for lunch with a water, when their prices posted said $10.50 for lunch, when trying to communicate that, the manager pointed at a buffet all day on the weekends, couldn’t speak enough English to tell me that their prices don’t change on the weekend and you get charged a dinner buffet price. Definitely not worth the $14 won’t be back.
