Me and my husband went here for a lunch date. The atmosphere is absolutely romantic. It felt like stepping back in time. The prices were great! The staff was wonderful. Very quiet and just overall wonderful. I will be coming back again. We traveled from South Carolina, and stumbled across this little treasure.

A delightful spot for tea’n’dessert or a full meal. The chicken, potato, spinach soup is perfection (just had a little salt and pepper to your taste). The salads are fresh. The desserts are a total treat! A sweet, feminine and classy atmosphere.

Had a great time at Clementine’s for the high tea menu! They have a decent tea selection and you can get more hot water. The tea service came with 4 sandwiches, 5 desserts, plus banana bread and a scone with cream. Atmosphere is rustic and cute. Will definitely be back!!

I have been coming to Clementines for over 20 years and part of the experience I looked forward to was dessert. I had lunch there today and the piece of cake I had was dried out, obviously stale. Several weeks ago I had a lemon “tart” (which used to be my favorite) that was basically a dessert shell probably from Gordon Food Service, filled with canned lemon pie filling. Their tarts used to be homemade and were actual tarts.

I’ve walked past this restaurant countless times, but today was the first that I went in. I can’t believe I’ve missed out on this place for so long! We each had a pot of tea and a piece of cake from the bakery. I myself had the black currant tea and the chocolate Lucifer cake. When I wasn’t certain what tea to try I asked the server for her opinion, and it did not disappoint! The tea was delicious as it was and required no additions, and the cake perfectly rich and chocolatey. Both were exactly what I had hoped for.

our waitress never refilled water glasses or asked if we wanted more beverages. Never came back abd asked if our meals were OK. Never asked us if we wanted desserts just brought our bills. Never said she would take them was told at counter that had changed. Not the same as old owners doesn’t feel as welcoming as it was.

I wanted to really like this place. It’s been too crowded for us to get a seat the previous couple of times. Today we waited about 20 minutes. Located in a old house there’s not a lot of tables. It probably would’ve been a nice quaint place, but at lunch was so noisy I could barely hear my companion sitting directly next to me. Chicken salad was good. Had coffee and cake. The cake which looked beautiful was a disappointment as it was rather dense and the frosting/filling solid rather than fluffy and soft. Staff that works here gets an A plus. Super nice.

This is a nice eclectic place. The service was good and the food was also O.K. Nothing spectacular, but it is a nice place to have lunch. The pickle we received was a bit stale and definitely not edible.
