I just moved to the area and was craving Mediterranean food. My sister (who has lived here but had no idea of this place) and I randomly came across Ephesus next to the Tom Thumb I go to and decided to try. We are so glad we came across them. The two male waiters were so nice and made us feel like we were having a luxury experience. The restaurant is also very clean. But let me tell you, THE FOOD. It was absolutely amazing and so fresh tasting. Feta rolls, Greek salad (I’ve never seen a Greek salad with such fresh and vibrant colors), chicken kabobs, hummus, etc. Funny enough, I heard a coworker talk about how she found this place randomly too and went in with no expectations but left blown away.

Birkan gave me the best service I have ever received at a restaurant in my entire life! I came here for dinner around 5:30 on 7/11. I was immediately greeted and seated with a warm and friendly welcome from Birkan. When I was asked if I was ready to order, I asked for a recommendation. Birkan asked me if this was my first time. I said yes. He then took my menu and told me that I could trust him. He was right! First, I received the lahmacun as an appetizer. It was delicious! Reminded me of a Mediterranean spiced thin crust pizza. Then I received the Adana Kebab. It was even better! The vegetables and rice were cooked perfectly with great spices and flavors, and the kebab was juicy and tender and full of deep umami flavors! Then Birkan asked me if I had room for dessert. Of course! He then nodded approvingly and returned with the Kazandibi. I would never have ordered this because of the description, but I am so glad I tried it! The caramelized custard was one of the most unique desserts I have ever had. The combination of the sweet creamy custard and smokey caramel topped with pistachios had me going back for more until it was all gone. Then to top it all off, Turkish tea! It warmed my soul! I will never forget the experience I had tonight. So wonderful! And I am so very thankful to Birkan!

Second time I’ve been here and it was as good as the first time. I went here with my fiancee and it was a perfect spot for a nice 1on1 dinner. Ambience is good, was a little busy but we were able to be seated quickly. Turkish food! The complimentary bread rolls are amazing, but the chili oil butter takes it over the top. We got the feta rolls, which were also crispy and great. Pita is $1 per whole piece. I got the Her Majesty Special, and my fiancee got the Lamb Kebab. The Her Majesty Special was very flavorful but to be honest, a little too much for me. It was a bit salty and a bit of a chore to finish. But the lamb kebabs were great. Everything you would want. The wait for food was long, but the waiters were great and apologized multiple times and gave us complimentary tea. The baklava was on point too. 5/5 would definitely recommend.

I absolutely loved my visit to this restaurant, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The decor is tasteful and not tacky! Definitely a new date night spot for my husband and I. I had the chefs special with steak. The steak was cooked perfectly and we had baklava for dessert and we even got complimentary teas to go with it. Can’t wait to return and try other items on their menu!
