3 of us came here for lunch. I had the sushi & sashimi lunch plate, which was good, but I was disappointed it did not come with rice (nor miso soup or salad). My companions had the mongolian beef lunch, and broccoli beef lunch, both of which come with rice. Soup or salad was added for $1 each. Both beef dishes were really tasty, and very good value. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, and I would gladly come back.

Average place, small restaurant. My stepdaughter had the sushi and unfortunately I can not rate this place properly, because I don’t eat sushi but I had beef fried rice a simple dish and it was ok hence the 3 star. My wife had the undon shrimp tempura and she like that. So this place is a hit or miss depending on your taste and how the kitchen is doing. Overall you have to judge this one yourself.

After a few times getting their sushi to-go, my boyfriend and I decided to dine in and.. WOW! The sushi was absolutely amazing. All of the fish melted in your mouth. Fish to rice ratio is perfect. Unagi was warm and some of the best we’ve had. We ordered so much sushi they put it on a boat for us, presentation was really great. Customer service was great, everyone was very nice. Sakura has become our #1 spot, and we will definitely be back! All in all, EASY 10/10. Those two men behind the sushi know what they’re doing.

As soon as I came in none came to me. So I decided to come and ask the lady if I can take a sit. She even didn’t come closer to me and kept doing what she did. She rudely asked me what I want, and showed me on the table. I think she is an owner or manager, whatever. Then she even not gave me a menu, she THREW it on the table and just went to the kitchen.

Ordered steak and shrimp hibachi, there were only 5 pieces of hard chewy steak. Not cooked medium rare. Not a fan, not worth the $$. Soup had no flavor. I will always choose Samurai in Strongsville over this place. Samurai was unfortunately closed today, but they are definitely better quality/portion over Sakura.

We went for hibachi dinner. We ordered one chicken and one steak, both were delicious! So tasty and fresh ingredients! Our chef was very friendly and interactive with the table. He was very attentive and made a good show while preparing the food! If you don’t like sake, don’t accept when he shows the squeeze bottle, if you do accept, he will squeeze sake into your mouth.
