I really liked this place ever since I settled in Iowa City: they offer a great quantity of food with good taste and price. After having a long day, my husband and I missed the burritos. We picked up food (one Iowan for me and another with chicken for my husband) and took it home. You can feel my joy from my first photo – the size of my burrito (the Iowan). Everything was great until I chewed a nail in the burrito. This is way beyond my imagination.

Good, but you would have to know exactly what you want. There are too many options so getting confused and choosing the wrong filling or sauce can be quite common. I have had way better Mexican food. All in all, it is tolerable.

Was suggested to try Estela’s…..beat suggestion ever! Wow!!! Great flavors and offerings of some true fresh mex food! Went with the burrito bowl with veggie mix. Everything was fresh and made to order. Great interactions with staff who offered many suggestions of what to try.

Im gonna be real with you guys, I’ve lived in Iowa City all my life and for most of it I was a loyal pancheros customer, but let me tell you, this place is so much better than pancheros. They have better food, better quality control, and better customer service. If you’re getting a burrito in Iowa City this is the place to go trust me.
