My wife and I were thrilled to find this spot close to our new apartment. The food was incredible and the staff were amazing from the moment that we walked in the restaurant. The staff were kind, attentive and so welcoming. We were even able to sample some of the dishes that they offer. If I could rate this restaurant higher than 5 starts I would. We will definitely be ordering from here frequently.

I really enjoyed the food!! I originally ordered Jerk Chicken and Chicken Curry. I got a call to say they didn’t have the curry so ordered the Stew Chicken instead – which was delicious!! I did however order it to be HOT (thinking Jamaican yummy HOT) I thought it would be SPICY but it was mild. Very mild – but tasty.

We loved our food, I should have taken pictures. We usually go to the Bronx or Brooklyn for our Jamaican food. We don’t have to do that anymore, this local spot is the place to go. Curry goat, curry chicken, stew chicken, jerk chicken patty, curry chicken patty is what we have had to date. Looking forward to trying other dishes and a spinach patty. Keep making great food and you will have me as a loyal customer. I have spread the word to family and friends.

The food was not good at all. The rice and peas has no flavor and the curry chicken has little flavor but much spice. I was hopeful for the cabbage because it’s really hard to mess up, but that too has no flavor. Overall the best part were the plantains. I don’t know if this was an off day but I’m not willing to waste anymore money to find out. I originally wanted a jerk wrap but was told the jerk was still in the OVEN!!!! That should have been my first clue that this place wasn’t authentic. It’s hard to find real good food up here. Nothing beats the nyc Caribbean food.

My husband stopped here on a whim yesterday and brought back two patties (a jerk chicken and a curried chicken). They we so delicious that we came back today for lunch! We are glad we did. The food is great. We had the fried chicken and the jerk chicken meals, and both were amazing, but the jerk chicken is some of the best we’ve ever tasted. And I’m still thinking about the oxtail gravy on the rice and peas. The service is warm and friendly. Lacie was so thoughtful that, unprompted, she put Cocomelon on the tv for our toddler so that my husband and I could actually enjoy our food. We’ll be coming here again and again!
