Luisa was a great server. She recommended the black tie margarita and I enjoyed it. My steak was a tad bit over cooked. I went for lunch on a weekday around 2. My steak was supposed to come with mashed potatoes, but they ran out. That’s disappointing from a fine dining establishment. The steak and sauce was good, crab Mac & cheese was good, spinach and potatoes Au gratin were fine. Shrimp cocktail was good. CRAB LOBSTER CAKE WAS TO DIE FOR!!! Order it !!!! I received a delicious dessert sample for my birthday. The ambience was nice, modern, and simple. Thanks Luisa for being a cool server.

Best restaurant experience I’ve had in the state of NJ. Our waiter Bruno was awesome! The aged prime rib was excellent and made just right. The salad was very tasty as well as the spinach. Our waiter was quite attentive and eloquently explained all of the menu specials.

My favorite dish is the steak salad and favorite dessert the coconut cream pie. They do a great job with there dirty martinis. I love to pop in and grab a drink at the bar, usually easy to get a seat. Staff is very friendly. Always a great experience. One of my favorite places in Parsipanny. My office has even gathered a large group of us together. I have come to celebrate birthdays. They usually sprinkle a little confetti on the table for your birthday and give you a little card. A lot of nice personal touches. My husband is super picky with restaurants, but he absolutely loves this place. Make sure you bring a friend or just stop In for a quick lunch.

Went to celebrate a birthday. The calamari with peppers was really good. We both enjoyed our kona coffee rubbed steaks. The truffle fries could have had more truffle flavor for our preference but still good. Dessert was delicious the flour less chocolate cake melted in the mouth similar to a chocolate truffle.

When I’m search for great steak and hospitality, the Capital Grille rarely disappoints. We dined here aa part of a work dinner and got the lamb chops appetizer, greens salad and some great Bordeaux wine. For entrees our table got the filet mignon (cooked medium as ordered), the NY strip with the peppercorn sauce on the side (cooked medium as ordered) and I ordered the porcini rub 22oz ribeye with 15 year aged balsamic, sides included soy glazed Brussel sprouts with bacon and truffle fries – both were great. While the kitchen mixed up my order and initially served a regular ribeye (which was great), on speaking to our server Richard, he immediately confirmed this was a mistake and offered to fix it asap. The manager also took care of this steak and sent over a side of mashed potatoes and a dessert platter (amazing crème brûlée cheese cake and an espresso dark chocolate cake) to compensate.

Very elegant and upscale! The food was excellent and seasoned well. Some unusual flavors but did blend well. This is the type place I would go for a special occasion.

My experience here was amazing! I went here for my brother’s birthday dinner and the service was outstanding the waiter was very helpful and the floor manager was very caring about our needs. This is my first time here and I can say they surprised me with the food I didn’t expect it to be that GOOD! I ordered the dry-aged New York steak well done and for the first time, I went to a restaurant that got it to be well done no pink inside. The exterior of the steak was crispy and the interior was juicy my steak was very superior. The sides my table got were mac and cheese, cream spinach, and mashed potatoes. Everything was satisfying! I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes on the menu.

Took my brother here for a belated birthday dinner recently. Grilled bacon and tuna tartare were delicious starters, and getting the porcini rubbed ribeye with lobster mac and cheese were indulgence we were looking for. We were so full we chose simple desserts- a berries with creme Anglais and a creme brulee- both of which, while textbook, were excecuted quite nicely.

Both POSITIVE & NEGATIVE Review – First the POSITIVES: (1) Great Location off of Route 10 by I-287 (2) Plenty of Free Parking (3) Beautiful building, inside & outside (4) Friendly welcoming staff (4) The personal attention was perfect; not overwhelming, but mindful (5) Manuel (Our Busboy) was friendly, and informed Us who Our Server was, who would be over shortly to take Our order (6) Alex (Our Server) was very professional, mindful, and helpful answering questions my wife had regarding menu items. He offered suggestions and gave Top notch service (7) The food was served at a reasonable pace; meaning, no delays … considering it was Mother’s day Afternoon (8) Our hat’s off to the Chef, because everything looked & tasted EXCELLENT!! The roasted chicken breast was tender and full of flavor. My wife’s Salmon melted under her fork, which brought a smile to her face with every taste. The mashed potatoes were 9.5 out 10 (second Only, because my wife’s homemade are a 10) … oh, yes … and the bread basket was like a treat in and of it’s own (9) the atmosphere was inviting & comforting, with a mix of classic Jazz, subtle disco, at the right volume (10) Clean bathrooms … and a Rose for every Mother. Now, the NEGATIVES: The only Negative is We couldn’t stay longer for desert. NOTE: This was our first time here. While a Reservation was required this day, they accommodated Us as a Walk-in, and we didn’t feel rushed. If you’re in Parsippany, or plan to be, We highly recommend stopping in here. We live 20 minutes away in Pequannock Township, and will definitely be back with our Teens. SHOUT OUT to Alex, and Management for the 5 Star Service.
