The seafood gumbo was so salty I couldn’t eat a single bite. Their hush puppies are awesome. Charlie Burger really good…messy though. Catfish was disappointing. Fried and had a good taste but the batter overwhelms the fish. The shrimp was okay. Tasted fine but a little tough. I love the outdoor arrangement. We get our food in a reasonable time and with excellent service. I don’t like having to choose a tip though when paying because it makes you feel obligated when you have it shoved in your face like that. There’s only ordering and pick up service and no table waiting etc so I think pushing for tips is a no no. A tip jar would be more appropriate. I think catfish should be their signature dish and it needs an upgrade. Larger filets, less batter, not overcooked. I would like catfish steamed, grilled or baked too. Maybe they’ll consider it.

Wonderful dinners ! We had catfish and fried green tomatoes and it was very delicious. There is a little bit of a wait for the fresh golden delicious catfish. Good stuff.

Stopped by Catfish Charlie’s for the first time after hearing it was really good. Glad I did, these folks know how to cook catfish. The portions were generous and the staff was very friendly. I’ll be stopping by rather often from now on, and you will too once you try it.

came here today really excited to try the cat fish poboy and got home only to find out they gave me shrimp instead. super upsetting as i do not like shrimp and paid them extra for something i did not get. probably wouldnt come here again.

Fast and great service! The food is excellent! I had the crispy catfish and loved it. The hush puppies are fantastic. But pretty much anything on the menu is good. Burgers, gumbo, etc I have enjoyed it all and when you are in a rush its the perfect spot to grab and go.
