We’ve been shopping at this mall for several years now, and honestly didn’t even know Taco Del Mar was in Bellevue Square. It would be nice to improve the marketing of the restaurant to attract more attention as it is located in a hidden corner.

Standard chain experience is found here. The food is passable for basic Mexican fare, but I knew that when I came in for my steak taco salad, which they no longer serve…ugh. The service was great and I really appreciated it, sometimes that makes the difference between a fair experience and a poor one. Located on the 1st floor in the Northwest corner of the Bellevue Square mall, next to T-mobile and Nordstrom. FOLLOW ME for the best recommendations as I travel the world!

I used to really like Taco del Mar, but this last experience has made me decide to choose Chipotle or my new favorite, QDoba. I asked for a bowl, no rice and was sorely disappointed that it was so small that I had to pay extra to make it an actual meal by adding extra chicken and beans. I’m confused as to why I spent nearly $20 for an okay bowl. Disappointed. I expressed this to the person training the new person making my bowl, only to be chuckled at and shrugging her shoulders like I was being ridiculous. I was the only one in the store during what should have been the lunch rush…..there were 4 people behind the counter. Maybe other locations are are better, which I really hope is the case. I absolutely don’t like leaving bad reviews, but this was a terrible experience.

I ordered three hard shell tacos, and they were soggy. As I was about to eat my tacos, they were falling apart. That’s not what a taco is supposed to be like.. I’m never going back.

Will never come here again . I ordered a burrito bowl and asked for no rice and no meat but instead just an extra scoop of beans and tomatoes but the guy at the counter was so reluctant to give any more and just gave an extra few pieces or tomatoes as was doing me a favor . Do not recommend at all.
