Food is nasty , the older guy at the front is very nasty and rude , I really think he’s racist , every time I come in there he has an attitude ,once I made my purchase he threw the card on the counter very nasty but the person In front of him (other color) he hands him his card and was not being nasty to him , worst service ever would never come or recommend this restaurant! Will continue to go to 3 Greeks gyros where I’m treated fairly , and equally and the food is good !

Owners rude as hell and needs an ego check. For the 4th of July that happened this week, dude was yelling at people parking in their lot and was threatening to have people towed. Store doesn’t open until 1030…parades at 10… streets blocked off. Where was your business going to be…lol.

Absolutely HORRIBLE and UNSANITARY customer service. I encourage everyone reading this to BEWARE. YOU WILL RUIN YOUR APPETITE SOLELY AT THE FACT THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BAD. I have been a resident of the Porter county area for over 4 years and recently discovered Andy’s Red Hots as of a few months ago. From the very first time my husband and I encountered the older gentlemen that runs orders in front, we have had very unsettling and displeasing experiences. He is very rude and unsanitary, and he doesn’t like when you make adjustments to your meal. He doesn’t wash his hands in between handling cash orders and cooking the food, and is very rude when working under pressure. On very rare occasions, there are amazing cooks in the back of the establishment that makes the food fresh to order with no issues. However, usually when the workers aren’t there, the older man is the only one working and his attitude always shows that he doesn’t want to be there. My experience with him today was worst. First of all I ordered a gyro dog, and there were about 3 customers ahead of me. When I received my order, I only got a hotdog with tomatoes on it. After requesting to get the gyro meat on the dog, the older man just rudely snatched my order (after touching the cash register) and then carelessly added gyro meat to the stove and then on the hotdog without washing his hands. (AND YES, HE TOUCHED THE MEAT ON THE STOVE WITH HIS DIRTY BARE HANDS WITHOUT USING UTENSILS) when I kindly tried to notified him of his error, he got extremely mad and yelled at me, and then just took the hotdog out of my hands and gave me cash back for my order. I was in disbelief on how cruel and rude he was about the whole situation. It’s sad to see people like this man that take advantage of patient customers by giving unsanitary and rude services to people that are helping to help keep the establishment open. Because of this, I will never attend again and I will be contacting BBB of northwest Indiana along with the Indiana Food Protection Division as soon as possible to alert them of the unsanitary and rude services that are being offered at this establishment.

I went in there today for the first time. The food was great and the owner was very nice we had a conversation while I waited for my ordered. I got a gyro it had plenty of meat and it tasted great!!

I STOPPED GOING HERE because the owner is SOOO RUDE AND WORKERS THERE DRESS INAPPROPRIATE. SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE.I posted these pics and a great rating a year ago. At that time the food was good. The owner and staff weren’t friendly and service was ok. IDK… ITS REALLY SAD. I GREW UP GOING TO THIS PLACE. THEY DON’T APPRECIATE YOU’RE BUSINESS… BOTTOM LINE.

The cook was friendly. The owner seemed rude. No greeting at all. He was Vacuuming but didn’t turn it off till 4 minutes after being there and trying to hear the ladies. He doesn’t seem pleasant. Fries weren’t cooked all the way but didn’t to complain w the heaviness felt in the air. Maybe next time thi gs will be better…wish them well.
