Chicken was great. Service was good won’t recommend for dining in though. It’s extremely tight and not comfortable when it’s packed. Prices are decent. They called the sandwiches sliders but for me it’s more than enough for a full meal to share for 2 people.

I recently tried Dave’s Hot Chicken, and while I enjoyed the experience, I would opt for medium spice next time as I think I’d prefer it more. I recommend getting two sliders instead of one slider and one tender for a more satisfying meal. The food is on the expensive side, but the quality and overall experience are superior to most other chicken places. Keep in mind that there might be a bit of a wait for your food, as the place can get busy. Most of the tables were taken or slightly dirty but that didn’t affect our enjoyment much.

Had to see what all the fuss was about. Came here after the movies next door. A bit pricey for what they are offering, but I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor of the food. The seasoning on both the chicken and the fries is amazing. Reminds me of a smoky bbq flavor. I got medium and it wasn’t too spicy at all. Didn’t taste greasy and full of fat at all which I was expecting.

Got the #4, lite mild- it’s a slider and fries with pickles and coleslaw, washed it down with a coke zero. Even the lite mild had a healthy kick to it, chicken was super juicy. Dave’s sauce is like a chipotle mayo, fine. Fries were crisp and had good seasoning. All in was $13.31. Menu is short and sweet, fried chicken, slaw, fries, Mac n cheese and milkshakes.

I drove over 8 hours from Virginia Beach to experience Dave’s Hot Chicken, and it was worth every second. Upon taking the first bite of my “hot” flavored sandwich, I was transported to another world of flavor and possibility. The quality of food and service is on a whole other level. Saying “my pleasure” and being closed on Sunday are simply not enough to compete with the ultimate powerhouse of a flavor factory that is Dave’s Hot Chicken. I received several looks and smiles from the staff as I walked in the door sporting my custom made, one-of-a-kind DHC shirt. Within seconds of placing my order, it was ready. Little did I know, this was one of my last meals before discovering my wife’s infidelity with my (former) buddy Steve. The food, service, and flavor here are above all else and will stand the test of time against all other chicken chain restaurants. Dave’s Hot Chicken has my business until I die. Not experiencing this is a crime against humanity.

First time coming here and it was delicious. Air fried chicken tenders! You can choose the level of spice. I just hoped that they sold some merch like t-shirts, hats…overall we liked it so we are definitely coming back. We had the Dave #3 meal and Dave #4 meal.

Went to this place for a quick bite. Place seems to be having good crowd. I tried their Dave #2 with extra hot spicy level. Spicy level seemed okay to me. The taste of chicken felt okay to me.. First time trying and we ordered a STASH of mild and medium burgers for 6 people. One box of fries as well. This was amazing. A bountiful serving of chicken that tasted like the proper dry rub was put on tender juicy well cooked chicken breast with crisp pickles and a soft potato bun. I had two with the crinkle fries and all I needed was a MILKSHAKE. Can’t wait to eat this again!!
