Overall it was a good experience. I ordered the lasagna which was a good lasagna don’t get me wrong, but it lacked a like “wow” factor to me. It was simply just a good lasagna if that helps. However the staff were great and everyone was very nice. They were all very nice and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The drinks were top tier though, I got the negroni classic and I loved it. I would have posted a photo of that here but I drank it before I thought of taking out my camera. Five stars on that.

I had a wonderful dining experience at i Sodi in Manhattan. The cozy ambiance, attentive staff, and authentic Italian cuisine made for a delightful evening.

Walked in on a Wednesday at about 5:30pm and got the last 2 spots at the bar. I’d been incredibly excited to try the lasagna here but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. To me, it tasted like something I could make at hope. We did also try the lemon pasta which was a step up from the lasagna, as well as the flourless chocolate cake. I recommend trying different dishes here, rather than coming only for the lasagna.

Lasagna is must here! The butter nut squash pasta was amazing too. The ambience and service are exceptional! 3 hr wait for a table is a bit crazy but that’s NYC

The food was delicious but the host made it for me. We walked in with one of our party still 10mins up the road, and he held a table for us despite being very busy. The service definitely matches the food… My lasagna was absolutely delicious too.

Worth the wait. Worth the hype. The lasagna and lemon pasta were both so so good. The bruschetta with tomato special was phenomenal.

After trying Via Carota (another Italian restaurant from the same owner) and really enjoying the food there, I wanted to give I Sodi a go. Reservations were hard to get but I was able to walk in and grab a bar seat for one with only a 15 minute wait.

Did takeout and we all agreed the best was the lasagna sugo hands down. I’ve always been a lasagna fan so maybe I’m a bit bias. That lasagna was 5 stars. Then the other 2 pastas we got, paccheri and oxtail, were also really solid but nothing memorable. We probably should have gotten 3 lasagnas.
