ordered ahead so food would be ready at 12:10 for lunch. showed up at 12:15 and was told they never got my order. I explained I was on lunch and that this had been ordered in advance to accommodate my 30 lunch. The owner/cook, grabbed my phone out of my hand and insisted she needed to see what I ordered, then said she would make it to wait.. I had paid online. after 15 mins, she came back with a container she gave me and said it was hot. I hurried back to work and opened the container to this.

Worst service I ever received. Waited over an hour for two pieces of chicken and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was made with penne noodles :/ The food was really nasty. It didn’t taste right. Really bad experience

I waited 25 minutes for my meal at this mall food court. When I finally asked where it was the girl went back and came out with it 5 minutes later. I ordered the Fried Pork. It was gristle and bones, and the few pieces of actual pork were as tough as shoe leather. I thought oh well, maybe it was just a bad batch. Then I tried my onion rings, which I only received three of, burnt. Oh well, there was still the rice. Nope, it tasted sweet like someone had accidentally poured their creamed coffee in it. It was really weird. I’m not one to take food back, ever, but $16 for inedible food was my breaking point. The two employees I talked to assured me that this was how they serve their food. A $16 lesson learned. Never again. I had to throw my food away after waiting over half an hour.

I was so excited to try this food but it was a huge disappointment! Everything tasted old and she told she was making fresh fufu but it wasn’t fresh, it was rewarmed. I have an African husband and know the difference. The goat was only bones, rice was very dry. The only thing that was half decent were the plantains and peanut butter soup. I spent 90 for this nasty food….never again!!

Extremely delicious. I love their white rice chicken stew, Jamaican patties, and plantains. I’m ordering off doordash their talipia, white rice, plantains, brownies, and Jamaican beef patties. With their delicious passion fruit juice. I’m excited. I had a great experience through doordash with them yesterday.

I can’t wait to eat a full meal! I got food somewhere else in the food court and then saw Koffi has sweet plantains. So I ordered just a side of sweet plantains and they were PHENOMENAL! I will be back for a full meal. Thank you!

Full transparency I used Uber Eats, and didn’t receive what I was expecting. I ordered 2 meat pies and 2 Jamaican beef patties, but it looks like I got 4 Jamaican beef patties. I will say this, very delicious and if 2 of them are the wrong thing it worked out in my favor. The other dish is the Creole sampler and was described as (fried chicken, pork, and chicken with fried plantains, fries or onion rings). It came with some of mac & cheese and rice. The mac and cheese was good, but I really like the rice. The meets were tasty. I am looking forward to trying the oxtail and goat stews sometime and will be getting some more of those appetizers.

The wait time was ABSOLUTELY ridiculous waited for over 2 hours for 2 bowls of egusi. They didn’t have cash or card machine running so I had to spend more than what I wanted. They also did not cook at the place someone was cooking else where and bringing the food which then they did not have everything on the menu.. The taste of the egusi was ok but the wait time and unorganized service was not worth it.. I am also from out of town(Memphis) which is why I decided to try them.. now I’m forced to drive 45 min away to Iowa City whenever I’m in town for African food..

Got the jerk chicken. It was pretty spicy but the rice help set it off. The plantains were crispy. The wait was extremely long though so that removes two stars
