Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 – spicy beef noodle soup (D4) and spicy hotpot noodle soup (D9). The food was good overall but the chili oil does cover the taste of the broth a bit. We were slight confused by the raw SPAM like protein in the hotpot soup as it didn’t quite fit the rest of the dish.

The food was not only good, it was very well priced (doordash price) and tasty! The Sesame chicken over noodles was $12.99 and the 6 Bao (ate one before taking the photo) $9.99, great prices for the area. The food was very good, packed very well, it included dipping sauce and arrived quickly and warm. You can tell care went into making and delivering my warm meal. Will definitely order from here again and you should try it!

Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Spicy fried chicken is very good, as well as other dishes like Mapo tofu, or dan dan noodles. Service is relatively fast. Would visit again

I like wheat bay a lot. It’s close to the UO campus, has friendly service, and large portions. The price is slightly high, but it’s offset by the fact that you are getting two portions, one to take home.

I have never been to a more authentic Chinese restaurant! My friend who took me said the dishes are more North China specialty.

Tbh I really think this is the best Szechuan restaurant in Oregon, even tho they kinda change the way to make dry pot that I don’t like, and their hot pot is kinda normal, but it’s all you can eat!

Ordered to go, the person responsible for the package had forgot one of the dishes. I had to call, drive all the way back to pick it up and it was already lukewarm, which in Chinese food, means the animal fat has solidified and tasted gross. Food is not too bad, but overpriced as most places near the university are. There are better options in town.

My husband and I were passing Eugene on our way to Portland and stopped here for lunch. We had spicy beef noodles, shrimp wonton and stir fried cabbage, all of which are delicious. I wish the noodles were hand pulled and more al denté but they were very flavorful so I liked them anyway.

Envy for the university students that they could enjoy such authentic Chinese restaurant just near by the campus. Mainly the menu is Szechuan cuisine (from Southwest China), which dominates the great deal of famous Chinese dishes. The owner/chef of this particular restaurant came from Los Angeles (California) and brought the best selection to northwest that we might not find easily in Seattle.
