Good homemade cooking. Loaded up enough to last me 2 days. Everything is on point. Not sure how they mix the dressing for the salad but it was delicious. Never had corn the way they make it here, it was good. Beats truckstop food any day. Spend some money and get you some food from here and you will not regret it. Down home respectable people making good food.

I liked the food. It seems that we spent a little bit more than expected…. they charge you by the serving.. which gets confusing when u are not soo good at math and you do not want to get your calculator out while holding a plate on the other hand. Overall good food and good folks. I enjoyed the fried chicken!

The last “meat and three” restaurant left in Hartwell. Their menu changes daily. If you enjoy mostly country fried meals, you will enjoy this place. My personal favorite is the pork chops and cabbage. Their breakfast is great. You don’t have to worry about paying an arm and a leg to eat from here. The crowds are pretty big on Sundays. Closed on Monday. Staff members are on hand to fill your glass of sweet tea.

We were traveling through the area and stopped for lunch. All the food was great and prices were al la carte. I had a 4 veggie plate, hubby had roast beef +2 veggies, 2 teas. Price was $20. Friendly staff, desserts looked good. Restaurant interior could use some freshening up.
