We tried Sophia’s Cafe for the first time recently and I have to say, I was very impressed with their menu. The owner is Jordanian which is evident in the beautiful nuanced flavors of the region. We tried their falafel it was fresh and made to order, crispy and spiced to our liking, it reminded me of my time in Beirut. Their bread is freshly made and deliciously paired with their hummus. Their lamb shawarma wrap was excellent! Their portions were generous and service was quite fast, and without a doubt Nizam (the owner) cared a great deal about his customers and was invested in the excellent customer service delivered to his customers. I was delighted to see a reasonably priced contemporary cafe that also brought authentic middle eastern cuisine and ambience to heart of Sherwood. We will be going back soon and encourage you to do the same too.

Went to lunch here today & it was so so good. The guy behind the counter was seriously so sweet and the food came out so quick! Literally 10/10 recommend! I got the gyro salad & my mom got a chicken plate. So so good!

Went for dinner with my Husband and Daughter. The food is incredible as is the service. This lovely family owned restaurant is a gem here in Sherwood. Consider checking them out you will not be disappointed. For the spicy fans try their hot sauce. It is to die for. We will definitely be back!

Nice little facility and kind people! The food has spices that are really very strong like Indian food, and for me I like how light Mediterranean usually is, so my family probably wouldn’t come again. But we would definitely recommend it to anyone who might like that

Friendly helpful staff. The stuffed cabbage balls were really good. Now the gyro meat is not my all time favorite on flavor and the tziki sauce was a bit bland but over all it was pretty good. I think my taste buds are spoiled on my #1 Gyro’s in Montana. So I think Sophia’s is totally worth a try and they have a very large menu plus I like that they had a sampler platter so you could try a lot of different things. I’ll definitely go back to try some other stuff.

Had a gyro wrap, moussaka, a couple starters of shawarma and hummus. Everything was fresh and really tasty. Definitely the best I’ve had in the Tualatin/Sherwood area. Clean place just off 99. I’ll be back.

My order was take out so I don’t knows about the atmosphere or service. I ordered a lamb gyro. What I got was certainly not a typical lamb gyro meat and there was not much meat on the pita; it had chunks of fat and I don’t know what the strange yellow sauce was. I don’t know about the rest of their food but the gyro was bad enough that I don’t know if I’ll try something else there or not.
