It was my first time visiting the rail splitter and I have to say that it was really nice atmosphere. It wasn’t very crowded at all when my husband and I went on a Saturday morning around 11 a.m. there was only one family sitting next to us and then there were a few people in the bar. The waitress was very friendly and was able to answer all the questions that I ask her and she was very friendly. I ordered the country fried steak and I have to say it’s probably the best I’ve ever tasted in the Peoria area, more flavor than any other country fried steak I’ve had! The prices were really great also! They had it decorated for Halloween so it was nice to see all the decorations. I would return here again for sure!

Very good service and the breakfast was AMAZING!!!! Seen someone get a country fried steak or chicken and let me tell ya it looked INCREDIBLE, I’m coming back for that. My buddy had the pancakes and he said they were the best he’s ever had. New favorite breakfast spot!!!

I had lunch and everyone’s food was great. There is more room inside than what it looks like and there is a small outdoor area also. I’ve heard their breakfast is wonderful and it’s served until 2pm.

Food was good. Service was great. The only complaint I have is the tight quarters. Trying to get to the tables was an obstacle. Going through one room to another. Do not know how wheel chair friendly it is. Have to go up stairs in front to get in. Don’t know if there is another entrance.
