I have been coming here for almost a year now and am always impressed with the quality of the food. I think it has the best vegetarian options near Columbia campus. The staff is extremely friendly and nice. The atmosphere is cheerful and bright. I strongly strongly recommend!

They don’t honour prices displayed outside the restaurant and arbitrarily charge more. In the pics you will see I bought a paneer tikka for takeaway and the price I was charged was different from what they mention outside. I asked about it and they said prices outside were old and acted surprised like they didn’t know prices hadn’t been updated. Like how do you not notice the big board outside your restaurant every-time you walk in?

This is the second time I’ve been here because the amount of food you get for the price makes it worth it. It’s decent food at an affordable price that will leave you feeling satisfied. The staff have been super friendly and attentive to my needs both times I have visited.

The food was not good, I ordered biryani and they gave me the mixture of rice and chicken curry. I was not having a good feeling while eating it.

I don’t know who is making this Indian food but it’s far from Good quality Indian food. Extremely disappointed. Ordered chili paneer… it was nothing like what I have had in past. They just made a chili sauce with added raw veggies and chunks of paneer. Usually it’s fried with lots of flavor and crispy. Baingan salan was very flavorless, watery and oily. Extremely oily. By far the worst Indian food I have ever had and I eat a lot of Indian food since my boyfriend is Indian, we eat a lot of Indian food. Unfortunately I couldn’t even eat this at all.

Simply not good. Rice was from yesterdays leftovers. Cold. Ingredients for main dishes also seemed to be from frozen bags. Food had no Indian flavor. Overall a very bad experience. I have dined there in the past and this time I was highly disappointed.

Terrific! Much more imaginative dishes than other reasonably priced Indian restaurants I’ve been to.
