A nice diversity of Asian street food choices. It’s a mix and match between fast-food and full service restaurant. Food took some time to prepare but wasn’t too bad especially when the dishes came out tasting pretty good.

Great food and very quick service. The Singapore noodles are one of my favorite dishes. Had Mongolian rice bowl today while my wife had the Black Bean and Garlic bowl with vegetables. Both were good. Next time I’m having the roasted duck.

This one shop join offers Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and Japanese dishes. While not 100% authentic, it is fair and it offers a variety of dishes you can pick from if you can’t decide on a cuisine:)

I am obsessed with their food. It’s different from normal Asian food. Very creative and delicious!! It’s light and flavorful!! The sauces they use are so unique. Very fresh food!

Don’t plan on a quick meal. Not because the food takes that long. Because the service is outrageously slow. Waited 25min in line to even order, then only 8min for our food. The service staff is all over the place. Food is ok, nothing too special. There are better places in the area for this. Only thing that was nice is the roasted duck. Nice to have duck that’s not crazy expensive.

What a hidden gem in north Boca! 5-Spice is unique and truly has something for everyone’s palate because it offers delicious street food choices from all over the Asian continent. I usually order the Malaysian Chicken Curry, which is absolutely amazing!

Pretty good/authentic food quality for a Chinese/Asian food eatery here in Boca. An acquaintance recommended this place when asked where we could find a more decent/authentic Chinese food option than Panda Express… This place didn’t disappoint, but still can’t compare with the food at the major Chinatowns in SF or NYC. Prices are double that of restaurants in Chinatown, but fairly priced for local options in Boca. Bathrooms were not that clean/great, which were in line with typical Chinatown restaurants, though. Service was a bit impersonal, as one orders at the counter and then your food is delivered to your table.

Coworker recommended this place so we stopped by around 8pm last night to try it out. Based on what was popular on their menu, we ordered the Ming Dynasty Duck Wraps $8.99, 1/2 Cantonese Roast Duck with two choice sides (we picked rice and buddha’s delight) $14.99, and a Mongolian Rice Bowl with choice of protein and rice (we picked roast pork and brown rice) $8.99. You order and pay and bring the given number to a table of choice and wait for them to bring food out to you (a food court type of style). The atmosphere is casual. Not too big or too small of an eating space with maybe 8 group tables and maybe 4 couple tables. There is only one bathroom for each gender so if someone is using the bathroom you will have to wait. The bathroom looks new, stocked, and clean although the smell of someone prior who changed diapers lurks in the air. The food arrived at a decent speed, around 10 minutes wait time. Our starter took longer and came maybe another 10 minutes later. My picky foodie bf and I both think the food was decent but not so delicious that we would drive back from Broward County to eat it. Although the duck was not bad, I have tasted juicier duck that leaves you licking your lips for more. This duck was like eating something common like chicken where you eat it like just another meal. It could be because it was night time and the roasted duck has been hanging in the case all day so it loses its fresh taste. Will have to try the duck when it’s freshly roasted to really judge if this place makes good duck. I personally thought the Mongolian Rice Bowl was decent. I would order it again with the same protein and rice which filled me up satisfactorily. I personally thought the Duck Wrap tasted good, but foodie bf says there are better. The wrap is made with Peking Duck and the method of making it is skinning the Peking Duck and then adding the other ingredients into a wrap. The flour wrap used is very thin, thinner than the one we got. There should be no bones in the wrap, but we had to spit out bones for this wrap. And the modern way to make the duck wrap is using white buns now. My bf pointed out the price of the wrap $8.99 and says he would rather pay for the entree we got which was the same price and bigger portion versus three hand-size wraps that are just appetizers (i.e. won’t fill you up). Utensils (you get real stainless steel forks and disposable wood chopsticks), napkins, sauces, beverages, and takeout boxes are self-served. After meal is finished you bring your dishes to empty at trash can and place in bin for collection (cafeteria style). Overall, the price paid for the portions given for the entree dishes were a good value. Taste was decent but not 5 stars delicious. If it was near where we live, we may come back, but since it’s not, it’s not a taste we would drive an hour to go get.
