Started with the Bob Marley Cocktail just as yummy as they look. Jerk wings for appetizer had a nice punch. Beans and rice a little dry for me, cabbage was out of this world, Mac and cheese was great. Collard greens a little too much vinegar and pepper, would prefer to add my own if I needed to. Had the shrimp it was cooked very well. Potatoes salad was good but on the sweet side. All staff speak to you and are warm and welcoming. Our server might need a little more training; seemed nervous and unsure. Besides that I would go back.

I will continue to come here. This Jerk Salad was amazing but more importantly, THIS place and its workers were so kind. I felt the love of my black community given to me and that was something that made me know that I was welcomed!

I’m going to dearly miss this place! My fiance and I found this place last year when we moved to Roanoke and honestly it ate up a lot of our weekends as we’d look forward to Friday/Saturday nights to spend time here. The staff is amazing and the food was great! We fell in love with the cornbread, sweet daddy tea, and oxtails (definitely don’t knock it until you’ve tried it, they’re like stew ribs). We left Roanoke this past summer but we still think about how awesome all the food was here. This was probably one of the first places I ever ordered EVERYTHING on the menu because everything was just THAT good. Go try them out and get a taste of real Carribean food!

An absolutely fantastic place to stop in! There’s not a single negative thing I could find to say if I tried. The owners are lovely people, the food is almost unrealistically good, the atmosphere is so nice, and the location is fantastic. I’m certain there’s not a single bad item on their menu. If you’re even slightly close by, definitely stop in.

On our first stay in Roanoke, we were looking for something to eat…we stopped in to Caribbica Soul…FANTASTIC!! The absolute best service we could have asked for, and the food…ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! We ate there 4 times in the 2 days we were there…the food and service are out of this world!! We would recommend this absolutely wonderful establishment to anyone! We cannot wait until we return to revisit!!

The restaurant looks good for dining in , and the customer service was good but the food is another matter . Perhaps it’s that whomever cooked today is lacking experience because the foods I received gives “Caribbean food” a very bad name . It was edible but was it good ? no not in my opinion . None of the food I bought be it the oxtail or the cake tasted anywhere close to worth the $60+ I spent . The oxtail was displeasing to the eyes and tongue , the rice and beans was drenched in something appearing to be gravy and lacked much flavor . The cake just had the looks but an awful taste . I would not recommend this restaurant unless you’re certain of the qualifications of the person who will cook your food .

Here in town for work and wanted to try this place for oxtail. I’m afraid I’m going to have to agree with the other reviews that felt the food was not representative of true Jamaican food. I ordered the oxtail with baked mac and cheese with candied sweet potatoes. I just found the whole meal to be underwhelming. The meat had no flavor, the sweet potatoes were bland and the mac and cheese was just “meh”. I grew up eating good homemade soul food and I live in Houston where there’s authentic Jamaican food. Therefore I’ve got a pretty good idea of what tastes good. I will say the service here was great, very friendly people. Sadly, I doubt I’ll eat here again. Also for the time of day I came the parking was kind of pricey.

Delicious! This is the second time we’ve visited and we’ve had a great meal both times. We ordered oxtail and brown stew chicken, which were both so good. Sides are on point and so are their patties. Must visit!
