The food and service were outstanding. The server knew about all the dishes we asked about and had details about the cocktails and champagne. He also was well versed in the hotel and surrounding area. From the appetizer to salad to our steaks everything came out as ordered and was delicious. Highly recommend!

I stopped in for breakfast while staying in this amazing hotel, The Black Hawk Hotel. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered the omelette with ham and Swiss cheese. This was a phenomenal value for the large portions. The omelette had chunks of delicious ham and gooey Swiss cheese. The hash browns were crisp and the English muffin was toasty. The whole breakfast was only 14.00 and I took half of it back to the room for the following day. Nice atmosphere to start my day.

Visited 6/27. The waiter was below average! When we asked to be seated outside he told us to come in and find him if we need anything . The beverages ordered from the bar came in dirty glasses. We were expecting an above average meal considering the price, we were all extremely disappointed! The steak was chewy and not cooked well, the fish dish was served cold, the pasta however was good. We will not be back!

Very mediocre. We did not receive our drinks until after our food arrived even asking several times where they were. My friend’s drink which was supposed to be their special for the Barwars had 2 very brown bananas floating in it. Thankfully they exchanged that catastrophe for their old fashioned. The Caesar salad was covered in cheap, bagged croutons. I received the wrong size salad and was told I wouldn’t be charged for it but I was. I also ordered the scallop appetizer and the risotto under it was very unappetizing looking and tasting. Way over salted and covered in some sort of very sweet jam. We were told we would get free desserts for all the wait and confusion but when the bill came suddenly no one mentioned anything about desserts. There was apparently a children’s dance competition nearby so the restaurant was swarming with loud children so I would not consider this a date night location. It’s directly off the lobby so it’s not going to be very quiet. All in all it was very expensive for what you get. Will not return.

We had an awesome experience! Our meal was delicious, as were the drinks. The menu is digital. You can actually click on a menu item and it gives a picture of the dish, as well as a detailed description. Our server Wyatt was amazing—friendly, efficient, and fun! Highly recommend!

Went for brunch today. Very disappointing. Our sever never explained the drink specials or talked about the buffet. She came back to the table only twice. Some of the food was cold. The desert was good but overall for the price and it being a Holiday it should have been better.
