Service was great. Everything was good except for the ramen. I should’ve looked at reviews for the ramen before ordering it since I was expecting ramen one could get from a Japanese restaurant. While nothing was wrong with it flavor-wise, I wish the menu would have detailed more that it wasn’t regular ramen. Instead, it felt like an afterthought that they had to include ramen on the menu.

I can’t speak about any other entree since I only had the ramen. But saying that the ramen shown in the photo was authentic or culinary level Japanese ramen would be a disgrace on the entire culture. I’ve lived in New York about my entire life and I’ve been to Japan and on many occasions had ramen there. None of the ramen was similar to whatever was free styled here. Not only did the ramen took about 20 minutes to be prepared for something I could make in my kitchen any day of the week in 10 minutes. To be fair, I should’ve known from the fact that Char Siu was not part of the ingredients for any of the ramen on the menu. I was not impressed by the food.

I was so surprised by this place. There are many wonderful sushi places in the area, but I would have to put this one to the top of my list. I can mostly only speak to the sushi menu because it’s so good I can’t bring myself to order anything else. Their rolls are unique and fresh, and unlike other places where there is a lot of spicy tuna mix, shrimp, or imitation crab, I found their rolls to have so much fresh fish comparatively. And it’s always delicious. The Maki Mono roll is a favorite that I have gotten every time. Also their new appetizer, the shrimp firecracker, is incredible. It’s like crab Rangoon taken to the next level. Don’t let fact that they don’t have half priced sushi deter you. Many of the places that do offer half priced have their regular prices hiked up. Maki Mono roll prices are super reasonable, especially considering the quality. Go support this local business, they are doing a great job!

I was pleasantly surprised with this find. Quaint sushi spot in covington with fresh sashimi! The rolls were quite good too. Tempura was yummy but slightly different from the traditional. Love the pot the hot tea comes in, would definitely come again!

This was our first time here and it was amazing! We got sushi, a bowl of mildly spicy veggie ramen, edamame, and the veggie spring rolls. All were delicious! The ramen will definitely be welcome leftovers. The service was excellent too. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. Will definitely be coming back.
