My first time getting omakase. Absolutely loved it. Chef Kong was so jovial, nice and funny. I didn’t expect it to be such a nice, casual atmosphere with the chefs chatting with us and sharing drinks. The sushi itself was absolutely fantastic; simple, extremely tasty fish with only minor extras. No overly complicated/overly thought out toppings here, the ingredients spoke for themselves. Just awesome.

I love this place!!! Everything was so fresh and the fish just melts in your mouth. The chefs were also so kind and informative about the ingredients in each dish. Overall just great vibes. Worth the $ and will come back again!

Absolutely amazing omakase!! The chefs were very nice, food personality, and very knowledgeable. 15 courses for $89/person. Make sure you get there on time so you’re not rushed. The fish was absolutely, melt in your mouth, delicious. They were very accommodating to my gluten allergy. I am definitely looking forward to going again!

One of the best Omakase experiences in New York. A smaller 8 seater allows intamite service at the counter between chef and diners. The yuzu sake selection is refreshing.

Excellent! Omakase by Korami is the first omakase I’ve ever had; and I loved it! With an intimate environment it is a lavish experience. The chefs were quite knowledgeable and had a warm demeanor. Everything was fresh and so delicious! This experience is pricey (as are all quality omakase places) but well worth it! Treat yourself to a quality meal with your close friends!

The restaurant itself is quaint and the host was so nice and welcoming, even striking up a personal conversation with us. Each dining reservation is only for an hour and when we arrived for our reservation, we had to wait as the prior group had run overtime. The sushi prepared was excellent, however the experience felt overwhelming as it was all to be done in the span of an hour in order to keep the schedule running for the next groups. After the omakase menu, you are able to add any additional pieces or drinks if you so choose, if time permits. Overall, it was a delicious meal offset by the fact it is served like an assembly line, in that each piece is served quickly one after the other.

Second omakase I’ve gone to and I really liked it- freshly prepared fish/meat and and really delicious sushi rice. A little more fast-paced than the last, especially when the fish were pre-sliced. Staff was also friendly.

Affordable omakase, high quality. The last seating is the most fun (there’s a karaoke mic that gets passed around!) The owner and chefs are super nice too!

I’m so glad I made reservations to eat here. Every bite was delicious. They will cater to whatever allergy you may have, e.g., gluten sensitive.
