Ahh! Great food tucked away here in HP! The Veal Marsala and Tortellini Alfedo is some of the best in the area…if you can even find it on other’s menus. Service was a little slow but it added to a very relaxed atmosphere! I highly recommend you check it out; especially if you’re Italian! Authentic!

Lubrano’s is a hidden gem in High Point! Great food with a wonderful staff. We are always greeted warmly and they remember us/ask about our family. This is a small family centered restaurant that puts out top notch pizza, pasta dishes, and other great menu items. If you don’t try it you are missing out!

I hadn’t eaten here in years and forgot how great the food was. I stopped in for lunch and had the stromboli special. It was fantastic. Great service. It was quiet so atmosphere was okay. Definitely will be back.

amazing experience here! good service and the food tasted authentic. i had a house salad, bread, and baked ziti on the lunch special, and it was great for only around 8 dollars. we also ordered some philly mushroom subs and they were great as well! only con is the atmosphere, could use some interior designing.

Great place. Carmine and his wife Anna run a wonderful operation. They make pizza right, using fresh dough, not frozen, homemade sauce, and the right type of oven, stone, to get a great crust, and proper cooking on the order. It’s not like chain stores with conveyor belt ovens, frozen dough, and premade sauces.

Things didn’t start off well. And they didn’t improve. When the cashier answered the phone, she gruffly bellowed: ”Lubrano’s!”— not “thank you for calling Lubrano’s may I help you?” or some other more standard, polite greeting. When I asked if they had garlic as a topping, she continued to be dismissive and brusque—right at the edge of rude. I actually considered going elsewhere, but it was getting late and I was already there, so I proceeded with my order. As for the pizza itself, the toppings were just ok— too many mushrooms and not enough garlic. The crust was tough and didn’t have much flavor. There was not enough sauce and what was there was bland. As I was eating it, I was continuously saying to myself, something is missing here. The price was about average. The dining area of the restaurant is actually quite nice, but you won’t find me there again.
