We went to Hippie BBQ for lunch and loved it. We got there right at 11 am and we were the only ones there, LOVED THAT! We got the brisket & pulled pork plate and it was delicious. The bar tender was super friendly and was on it even when they got there lunch rush. The kitchen manager came out to see how we liked our food and was also very friendly. The restaurant and bathroom were very clean as well. Give Hippie BBQ a try.

The pulled pork was good if you like a lot of seasoning. My fries were not hot and had an off taste. My hostess/waitress was a child, but she did as good or better than most grownups.

Forget the other restaurants! My husband and I are on vacation from mi. The owner is an amazing hardworking lady. I had the slammin chicken Sammie fried mmm delicious. We got take out and decided to have a drink while we waited, food was out before the end of our drinks. Make sure you ask her for a sweet drink. Primo . I’ve saved this spot in maps and will be back again. I wish you the best of luck in your business I hope it goes big.

I came here on a recommendation with friends. We walked in the door and received a welcome greeting from the staff. Ordered the Bottlecaps(breaded fried slices of jalapeños) as an appetizer! They were amazing, crispy, a bit spicy but the good kind. Definitely worth trying!

Five Happy Diners from the north leave as happy hippies with full bellies. My BIL suggested we try this place instead of another. I don’t know what the other place would have been like, but the team here at the Hippie BBQ made us very glad we chose their location, which to be fair is not in the busy section of the strip, and is a bit set back from the road in a shopping plaza. My fried jalapeños were the best I have ever had. So were the lemon pepper chicken wings. I had a house salad with the wings and appetizer, and it came with chicken, which grateful me didn’t expect to get.

We have found our new Smokey Mountain BBQ joint!! Amazing pulled pork and brisket. They make everything on site. Delicious potato casserole and Mac and cheese. The onion rings were so good!! We picked up to go, and the server still treated us like we were dining in. We cannot recommend this place enough!! You will not regret stopping in.

Got the pick two, with ribs and brisket. Expected the portion sizes to be smaller with the pick 2, but they were ample for one human. Onion rings were crispy. Ribs were meaty. The spicy bbq sauce was the right level of heat. But the star of the show was the brisket, triple T: thick, tender and tasty.

Ok friends… there’s a new player in town. It’s so hard to find good BBQ…. but here it is. We visited before their official opening but the staff were more than willing to accommodate us. After an exhausting day of shopping and playing tourist with the fam…. this is the place you’ll want to go to relax, listen to some good tunes, have a drink and (of course) share a delicious meal. We tried the fried pickles, ribs (truly falls off the bone. I had to get a video of this magic), brisket, Mac & cheese, pulled pork…. you name it and it was delicious. Hands down, this place will become a staple every time we visit Sevierville. If this was how they treated customers BEFORE being opened, I can’t wait to see what they can do at full speed! And try the homemade ranch… even if you don’t like ranch ya’ll… this stuff will make you question all your life choices… it’s that dang good!
