The waitstaff was very friendly, the food was great, and everything was quick, hot, and accurate. Thank you for the great dinner, we can’t wait to visit again!

We stopped in Virginia on our way home from NC. We accidentally found this place near our hotel room. Let me just say the employees are very hospitable and attentive. The young man serving us must of came to me asking if I needed something because I kept looking around….I was admiring the establishment. The food was amazing!!! I had the rice with pork chops, they tasted like Chicharon. The nachos and bean/cheese they give you complimentary was fresh and delicious. Let’s not forget to mention the Margarita. They are not shy with the alcohol. Everything was made perfect and delivered to your table HOT. Highly recommend it.

fajitas burnt and poorly seasoned. shrimp freezer burnt or about to go bad…didn’t taste right. guacamole also not seasoned and had big chunks of avocados that were not ripe, like the ones so green that you can’t even mash.

Based on the glowing recommendation of the staff at our hotel, we go take out from South of the Border. Amazing! The #84 Burrito Jumbo was outstanding. We all loved it – steak, chicken and jumbo shrimp with Tomatillo and cheese sauce. A family hit!

We’ve come here twice in a row for our dinner while vacationing in Williamsburg. Each time the food and service has been amazing. They start you with a bowl of fresh chips, salsa and queso. The queso has a layer of refried beans at the bottom and it’s the perfect combo. The entree’s they have available are varied but they have all the Staples you expect. The enchiladas and tacos we had were perfect. Not to mention that their sopapillas we’re the perfect end cap to an amazing meal. The food is so good some of the pictures we had already started to dig in because it looked too good. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. This restaurant will be on our must go to when we’re in the area again!

The service was good but when you went to pay the server didn’t give us a bill. When we asked for one he said to just pay at the register. When we went to the register several people passed right by us. A man with a south of the border shirt on with shorty’s crew on the back came out of the kitchen put stuff in his friends bag and had the waitress ring him up first. Then we had to tell the cashier each thing we ordered and told her the price.
