I’ve been here several times in the past. It was always hit or miss if they got the order correct. This time, the order was correct. The food came out hot and fresh. The waiter was polite and answered any questions that I had. The waiter also came by often and checked on me. I would most definitely recommend coming to Anita’s restaurant for breakfast.

Delicious!!! From the moment we walked in, Michelle was so welcoming. We were so lucky to have her serve us. If you want to taste New Mexico on the East Coast, try Anita’s. It’s our second time there, and it was just as delicious. My only regret is that I forgot about ordering the Sopapillas. Thank you, Michelle, for being a wonderful server. Anita’s you have to try their food!!

Let me start by saying I was born and raised in New Mexico. So clearly, I know good New Mexican cuisine. And there’s various types of “New Mexican” food. Some of the food is influenced by the Spanish, while another by local indian tribes, and some from Mexico. We drove more than an hour to get to this restaurant, and we weren’t expecting much as it’s so far from New Mexico. Boy, were we in for a surprise. My wife had the chili relleno, and I had the carne adovada. Both were outstanding! We also shared a cup of green chili stew and the red chili pazole. Again, both were simply delicious. They even came with a sopapilla! We saved those for after dinner and ate them with honey and cinnamon mixed with sugar. Wow! The service was great and everyone was very friendly.

Good food and service. We tried empanadas, enchiladas, and tacos. Everything tasted great. Churro ice cream and flan were great.

I always love Anita’s breakfast burritos, but had a lovely breakfast of Mr. T’s special this morning. My daughter had scrambled eggs and homemade chorizo, which she said hit the spit. Service was fast and attentive! Best visit there in a while.

The food is always great and the staff is super hard working. The last few years have strained their employees, like everywhere else. They’re doing the best they can and the food continues to be worth the wait. Love the burritos for breakfast!

This isn’t a bad place, but there are certainly better. It’s a bit run down, and the staff isn’t overly friendly. They aren’t rude by any means, but they seem disinterested in being there and don’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome either.

Space is beautiful, menu has great options for all kinds of diets or dietary restrictions. Drinks are ok, not too thrilled. Service was good, regardless of busy weekend. Definitely recommend this place.

I placed an order over the phone which had many details to customize the food. The person on the phone got all those correct as did the cook and person who put the lederhosen together. Nothing was missed. I made a lot of modifications to the order and it came as as requested. This was for takeout.
