I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bistro Peru, a local gem nestled in Sanford, and I simply must share my delightful culinary experience.

The steak was cooked exactly to perfection, it was season just right not overly seasoned or under but it left you wondering about the next bite. The presentation of the plate was very neat, and garnished just right. For the money, this is probably the best steak in town. Service was a plus! We will be back! Thank you.

Small family buisness just starting out, they are super super friendly and have great potential to become a growing resteraunt down the road. Menu is a bit small but the items available have great presentation and flavor.

Best Peruvian food we’ve had since moving to Florida! Everything we had was delicious and my Peruvian wife was thoroughly satisfied, particularly with the made to order ceviche.

First time trying their food even tho we did not dine in but rather placed an order to go. I can say hands down excellent food, friendly staff and very nice environment. They place a little side dish of corn (Canchita) while we waited for the food.. This to me was like the cherry on top as it made me feel like a restaurant back home (Peru) we ordered Tallarines verdes, lomo saltado, salchipapa, arroz chaufa mix and Tallarin saltado and a real lúcuma ice cream.. everything was delicious! Wish you guys lots of blessings and good vibes! ✨ We will definitely coming back ✨

Let me just say it. I’m happy that there’s more of a variety in DTS, but this food is just okay. I’ll be real. I’ve eaten a lot of Peruvian food and this is just okay. The ceviche I was given I feel did not spend enough time in the lime juice so it was really raw. I asked for spice. It was not spicy and the lomo was dry, like Popeyes biscuit with no drink dry. I might give them another chance but I don’t know. I wish them luck. They did just open so they might be working out the kinks but the chef is supposedly pretty established.

I was craving a nice fish sandwich and these folks delivered very nicely. It was accompanied by some very nice fries. The beer is from the place next door.

The staff was very nice! The food was delicious! We ordered the Yuca fries and Chicharrón which I didn’t take photo’s because we were starving but I did take a photo of our main meal which was the Tallarin Verde – Linguini al Pesto. Overall a pleasant and delicious experience.

HIS MISSING PIECE
Delicious! One of my best friends is Peruvian and gave this place a thumbs up. We waited a little for our food but it was 6 of us and when we tasted the food we were all quite. It was definitely worth the wait. The amount of food they serve you is amazing. We all had a container full with leftover food. So good. One of our friends is vegan and they was able to make sure she had a dish she would enjoy and she did. They are so sweet in there. Going back tonight and I can’t wait
