Everything about this was good. It is a nice little southern restaurant. It is a buffet but not the kind you are accustomed to with 100 different varieties of everything. It’s exactly how a buffet should be. Excel in one style of food instead of be “just okay” in many different types. Today I had: fried chicken (real fried chicken on the bone), macaroni and cheese, collard greens, sweet potato souffle, a stew beef with gravy over rice, a couple of chicken livers, and I also tried the blackberry cobbler. I had to stop myself from eating more because it’s very easy to eat too much here. People complaining about “atmosphere” or “politeness” need to stick to olive garden. The woman who helped my dad and I was extremely pleasant and helpful. I don’t go to restaurants for the decor or to make a new friend. I go for good food, which is exactly what this place has. Can’t wait to return.

One the best places with absolutely the best country cooking on the east coast. Delicious!! Only complaint is that they are not open later. If they was I would be eating there every night . Love the food here.
