My experience here was really great! I was seated upon arrival and staff was very kind. The staff even went out of there way to seat me in a quiet corner since I told them I was hoping to study that day. The food was amazing (I highly recommend the guacamole and al pastor tacos) as well as the desert! They even wrote the first letter of my name on the plate! If you’re looking for a new Mexican restaurant to try with a cozy atmosphere and delicious food, you’ll definitely have a good time at El Norte!

A new mexican choice in the area. The place is very spacious. The menú is very similar to most of the mexican restaurants in MN and the prices too. The service was excellent, the amount of food serving was good. Great selection of cocktails and drinks.

It’s a nice place! You will be given chips and salsa once seated. Salsa is on the medium side of spice and is great. I got the Burrito Fajita, the portion was huge and very tasty. The drinks are a bit expensive, a large margarita will run you about $25. I’ll be going back for the food.

Friendly staff and good food. Also, enjoyed the atmosphere when you walk in it’s unsuspecting from what you see on the outside. Additionally, if you order the Rafael burrito you better bring your appetite… It’s about the size of a men’s size 13 shoe

I am changing my review because yes, the food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and spacious, however, they overcharged me by nearly $13 on my bank statement and when I called to question it, they told me they would call me back and never did and never fixed the mistake. Beware of using a card to purchase food here!!

To sum it up, the salsa and chips were best followed by the rice. I ordered the Steak Burrito Mexicano. When I tasted the chips and salsa I was surprised and had really high hopes for the meal. The salsa actually had good flavor in comparison to the heat level, most places have bland salsa. Anyway the meat in my burrito was not seasoned and very bland. The same with my wife’s steak tacos.

New place finally was able to stop in. It was new and clean inside. Not too busy but the food was great. I would highly recommend it. I had the carnitas burrito lunch special and everything tasted great and fresh. Go check it out I’m definitely going back to try other dishes!

Just ordered $80 worth of food from this place. Food showed up missing the tortillas for the fajitas called restaurant and get yelled at by staff. No help No tortilla No f’s given by el Norte. Also no repeat customer. El Norte sucked on this order and did nothing to remedy it
