We had the clam n oyster congee (生 鲜蜆粥), very tasty! The ma.po tofu was also good. We also like he green leafy vegetables. Service is so so. There are two big round tables each for 10-12. This is a simple eatery, not focused in atmosphere or decor.

My first time at Bun’s house during the weekends. I was told that the owner has changed and decided to give it a try. This is a Chinese/Cantonese cuisine style with meat marinade and clay pots. The meats are fresh and tender. I enjoyed the food and have plenty of leftovers to take home.

We ordered 4, sweet potato cakes was good, seafood tofu was OK, rib was not fresh. The service was very good! if you aren’t from chaozhou, don’t order eggplant with salty fish! We don’t like it.

I went there many times, it’s one of My favorite restaurant in sugarland. Dry scallop and pork bone hotpot is a must. Large potion can feed at least 2-3 person. The combination platter in Lushui sauce (Chaozhou Style) is also very welcome by most of the customers. Besides The restaurant is simple and clean, and all tableware are well-organized. That’s another reason why I like to go.

Really Nice and friendly customer service and really good food too. We got a take out from here and we got a lot of items but the ones that stood out to me was the fried rice that had everything in it and the pad Thai they had. Both we really flavorful definitely try this place out especially the fried rice that is the best dish I had out of all the other!!

Delicious food, fair service. The owners and his wife are nice, tho. I like how the business owner’s older teenagers helping to serve. Still have some rooms to improve. (E.g. they did not refill my water like other restaurants would do.)

Wanted to try this restaurant out since they had a change of menu and it did not disappoint! We tried the seafood congee (highly recommend), marinated delights, and the oyster omelette (also highly recommend), and all three dishes tasted amazing. They give out huge portions so I had a lot to take home for the next day, would definitely come back soon!

Great array of items from clay pots, congee, Bao, teochew specialties, hot pot to more and very hearty portions! My family and I really enjoyed the oyster pancake which was perfectly crispy on the outside and the inside was soft with a good amount of oysters. The diced beef with black pepper sauce is also a must-get; very tender and flavorful, perfect with rice. Atmosphere was cozy and the service was amazing, will come back!

Bun’s House , Chinese name “龍记“. First time there and the food was great. We ordered their teochew style oyster pancake (jian hao bing), diced beef, tomato egg, wonton soup, thai tea, and more. I’d recommend the oyster pancake because it had a unique taste to it with crispy outer edges paired with a soft, moist inside. It was fragrant and came with a big portion with plentiful of oysters. Next in line would probably be the diced beef because it was juicy, hot, had slight charcoal taste in it, and balanced perfectly well with the bell peppers and onions. The wonton soup was perfect as either the starter or the meal you eat after heavy foods because it was light and paired with the green onions, it had a pleasant flavor. The wontons I heard were house-made and had water chestnuts inside which gave it an excellent crunch and texture. Overall, everything was super good with hearty portions for the price and the waitress was sweet and attentive. Most importantly came home happy and full. I’m definitely going to come back next time and try their congee.
