Had a #1 hamburger and it reminded me of the Burger Chef super chef burger as soon as I took the first bite! Yum! (Hardee’s acquired Burger Chef in the early 1980’s many located in Indiana). Mushroom burger good flavor. Drive thru service courteous.

This was a great place to stop. There were only two people working, but they kept the place running smoothly. Everything was clean, and our food came out hot and fresh. It was conveniently placed near a Pilot, TA, and Comfort Suites.

So they were not busy whatsoever and had to wait over 5 mins to order which no problem, but then they get the order wrong and over charge me. They did not refund the overcharge and then decided to take the food they charged me with and swap it for what it should have been bc they were ringing up on front counter and then taking it to the drive thru to use the card payment so the cashier must have either got confused or misheard. And to top it off there was a short gray hair in my biscuit. Probably won’t be back if I could it would be a zero stars for food.

Truck went into TA shop so I ended up at the Comfort Inn. Took a little walk over and was instantly greeted by a young lady. Very sweet and nice. Ordered quick. Got my food quicker. Nice and hot!! Restaurant super clean, kudos to the employees for that. And a huge thank you to the gentleman who shared 1 of his apple pies with me. Turned my bad day into a good one. Thanks Hardees!!

Biscuits were perfect, eggs cooked well, hash rounds nicely crispy (everything exactly as I asked for it to be done) Now…the rest of the story. It appears I was given the wrong order initially, but when I went back inside they corrected everything and my order was PERFECT. I feel bad that I was not very nice when I went back in…it was a simple mistake. They really do deserve 5 stars! Thanks
