We just moved to Cottonwood and I’ve eaten here twice. The food is mediocre and the service awful. My son was visiting from out of state and said it was “terrible”, and he’s not a complainer. After being seated, it took a while to get a menu. But after the menu was delivered sat for almost 30 min with no opportunity to order. Flagged down the waiter and finally ordered. My son ordered a glass of wine up front and they actually brought it at the end of dinner when we were done! The food is nothing special to be sure. You could get the same meal at Applebees (except Applebees doesn’t have liver and onions) with much better service. I gave it two stars instead of one because I like the fire tables outside. Next time we have people in town will go to Stone and Barrel or Ocotillo, not this embarrassment.

I had a really excellent breakfast here today. I had a hamburger steak and eggs over easy with hash browns and sourdough toast. I asked for my hash browns extra crispy and they came out perfect. My over easy eggs were also perfect and my steak was medium as I requested. My wife’s breakfast of a mushroom and ham omelette was equally well done. Great kudos to the kitchen! Our service was also first rate!!

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Bartender, Shelby, is awesome! He knows your name and drink order after 1 visit!! Food is really good! I’ve tried several different items and have not been disappointed by anything!

A variety band played on the ballroom tonight. The bar & grill also has bands occasionally. Walking around the grounds here feels like being in nature.
