Bravo By The Sea has some of the best pizza I have ever had. It is wood fired and the crust was perfectly crispy (we did request a crispy crust and they delivered). We only waited for 5 minutes between ordering and receiving our pizza. The pepperoni was delicious and the tomato sauce tasted fresh and homemade. You could tell that they use quality ingredients. The staff was very friendly and responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The interior of the restaurant is pretty small and only had 4 tables (most people seem to order for takeout), but we ate there and it was perfectly comfortable and calm. The location is right near the water and some cute shops. Overall, we loved our experience at Bravo and we hope to come back soon and bring friends and family!

Gloucester has no shortage of pizza joints, but this is our favorite. Delicious, thin crust, wood-fired pizza with a nice savory sauce (a nice change from the overly sweet tomato danishes that get passed as pizza at some places in town). We’ve had some creative slices there like elote street corn. They have a great deal on pizza by the slice too, 2 slices and a can of pop for $8.

Pizzas are hot and fresh. The cheese melts in your mouth. There are burnt pieces on the pizza which taste extremely bitter but that’s to be expected for a wood grilled pizza. I bought a soda because I was thirsty. That was THREE DOLLARS FOR A CAN. Maniacs fr and my change wasn’t even correct (off by 11 cents!). Would eat the pizzas again but well I don’t live here. Staff is kind. Seating is very limited (like two or three tables) and you can watch the kitchen. Drinkable tap water is warm. Please use cold water.

First off I only ever get the cheese pizza but so far, it has hit the mark every single time! I’ve wanted to write a review after the first time but for consistency’s sake I held off until after the fourth time and each time it has always hit the mark for me! I can’t speak for everyone else but my pizza was always cheesy, juicy, and a bit chewy just how I like it. With every bite you could taste the individual flavors, the cheese, the bread, the sauce. Just wow. I don’t normally care for pizza so for me to notice at all is quite something.

Got a pizza to go. Very tasty, seems like they use quality ingredients and they offer gluten free options which is great. Pizza is thin crust so one pie is good for one person with maybe a slice or two left depending on how hungry you are.

Delicious, quick, and not fussy. The owner is working on his head off. But the two girls in front need to lay off their constant scrolling on cell phones. I was trying to decide between two pizza flavors, and instead of engaging with me, the girls picked up their cell phones to entertain themselves during the 10-second lull while I made my choice. Phone addiction is real. I have not knocked down their service score because maybe these cell phones were for the business. But If these are personal cells, the owner needs to crack the whip and ban them from using their cells in front of customers like that. It comes across as very disengaged and flip.

What a find! Finally, Artisan Style pizza comes to Gloucester!! We’re from the Boston area (and unabashedly pizza snobs 🙂 and this is the kind of “old world” pizza we experience in the North End. You’re in for a real treat!

Wonderful pizza – the best downtown. Perfectly crispy and chewy. The pies are on the smaller side so make sure to order enough.

Grab and go! Spicy Pepperoni and Plain cheese slices are always available. They also do special slices each day. I was lucky enough to get an elite slice with corn that was delicious! The spicy Pepperoni can’t be beat with the wood oven. If you are in Gloucester for the day try this place. Lunch for under $9.

Very pleasant kitchen crew BUT, pizza was served within 5 minutes of ordering and it looked, tasted and “felt” like it. First, burned crust on the edges and underdone every where else and gooey in the middle. Sauce tasted right out of a can and probably was ! Note the cans of tomato paste every where. No margarita tomato slices and, what tasted like cheap cheese topped it all off.
