We have to come here every time we visit the Smoky Mountains. When you first sit down, they bring you their julep which is really good. It’s a couple different juices combined to make their very own. They also bring you their apple fritters which look like hush puppies. They give you their delicious apple butter to put on them. We love being the mix for them and buying jars of their apple butter. Every entree I’ve had from them is really good! They give you a lot of food too. You should definitely check out all of the shops there also!

Lots of standout items from tonight’s dinner. The fritters and apple butter had us stabbing our forks at each other to get the last one. The veggie soup was yum. I had the catfish which was fine but I loved the broccoli casserole the most. We had our first banana pudding of our trip and the bar was set high. Server Jeremy was friendly and quick!

We got there early & were seated immediately. Our food was served very quickly. The apple dumplings taste like beignets! Sooo yummy! Everything was delicious! The biscuits & gravy, the country fried steak, the cinnamon apples! Our waitress was delightful! When we left at 10 am there was a long wait.

The starters were out of this world. The fritters & the apple butter, plus the julep, amazing. True Southern hospitality. Food that’s right on the money. Everything was perfect, because I sat next to the birds and that was beyond a one of a kind , first for me.

Great old time family farmhouse restaurant. I enjoyed the country fried stake, potato soup and sweet potato casserole. My wife got the chicken pop pie and my daughter the liver. We all enjoyed our meals and the apple fritters before and after the meal.

Apple Fritters and breakfast are the best! I think we’ve come for other meals, but we usually plan to visit during breakfast hours. The waitresses are great! We came in on Friday morning and there was no line, we sat down and ordered right away! We also picked up some apple butter as gifts!!

Amazing waitress, super hot fresh food the free apple balls and apple butter are incredible. Overall a really pleasant experience. Definitely recommend the veggie soup. Mac and cheese wasn’t what I expected.

Amazing! The food, the people, just everything! We loved our server, I forgot his name, but we had fun joking about me being from Michigan & him Ohio.. Born enemies, but he was great! The apple fritters are a nice touch along with the julep. This was by far my favorite place on our trip!

Friendly, good service with delicious food but the brown gravy was too salty. Mashed potatoes were so good. Made from scratch and real butter was evident. The juice and fritters that they include with meal are so delicious and a nice touch. I had meatloaf, my friends had hot wings with Mac n cheese and the Angus ground steak. Would have been perfect except the brown gravy on steak and given upon my request for potatoes was overly salted.
